Summary
One would think traveling 52 years into the past would allow Harry some much desired anonymity, but unfortunately the malfunctioning Triwizard Cup spat Harry out on the quidditch pitch in the middle of a game. There's no lying about his provenance while a shiny plaque on the base of the Cup announces to everyone he is 'Harry Potter, Hogwarts Champion, 1994.'
Swept up by the ministry and sworn to secrecy by the Unspeakables, Harry is left to navigate the past on his own. Good thing his great-grandparents are willing to take him in - even if they're a little more into blood purity than Harry had expected - and Hogwarts is willing to welcome him back - even if he's a novelty to everyone as the time traveling Champion.
At least Harry will have the familiarity of Gryffindor Tower to ease his homesickness. Or he would, if the sorting hat hadn't put him in Slytherin, where he's forced to share a dorm with none other than Tom Riddle.

Jamie threw up his hands in disgust. “Fucking unbelievable! I’m the hottest bloke on the team, bar none, and I’m the only one that’s never done gay shit! The boys should be all over me!”
“You listed four people, Tartt. That’s not even a quarter of the team.”
Jamie ignored him. “And even you’ve done gay shit! I didn’t know that was allowed!”
“If you want to go do gay shit go find someone to do gay shit with,” Roy said curtly, hoping to end the conversation and return to sanity.
“Right,” Jamie said, nodding resolutely. “Good idea, coach.” His pout eased, replaced with a look of determination that Roy really should have taken for a warning sign because a moment later Jamie softened his mouth, stepped forward into Roy’s space, and kissed him.

This is so beautiful it made me cry. The relationship between SQQ & SY is a highlight. The story is more SY focused than romantic relationship focused (and deals with learning to find love and joy around the pain of living), but the LBG/SY relationships is still gorgeous. The author did something really poetic with the symbolism of the swords, and the angst --> beautiful resolution arc is powerful. And the Mary Oliver poem at the end? Perfection.

Summary

Literally freeze, he is at risk for hypothermia for not being right next to the guy who probably wants to turn him into a stick!
Wait—what do you mean Shen Qingqiu will also lose the ability to lie!? That's an integral part of him not being unceremoniously sent back to the life where he’s already dead!
