Subaru stared at the two unconscious people for a moment, his eyes lingering on the one with fucking flamethrowers for arms. Then he turned to his pseudo-daughter-spirit.
There was only one conclusion here.
“...Beako,” he said slowly, “I think we’ve been isekai-ed.”
Beako did not look enlightened at all. “What does that even mean, I suppose—”
A mistake in the Pleaides Watchtower throws Subaru, Beako, and Rem into a very strange, quirky Japan.

His grin fades into something smaller, more vicious. “You’re Reinhard Van Astrea, the Sword Saint.” He takes a step forwards and the bird takes a step back. “You’re a little bird.” He takes another step forwards and the bird hops back again. “You’re completely helpless.” One more step. Pride leans towards the bird, and his voice lowers to a whisper. “And I have you cornered.”
The bird flies away.

Reinhard walks into the Unforeseen Simulation Joint while it is being attacked by villains. As you would expect, this is extremely confusing to everyone involved.
