Summary
Sea Universe Research are threatening to go public with the footage of Xue Yang, a mermaid, admitting that he is in a romantic and sexual relationship with human, Xiao Xingchen, if the Yiling Sanctuary don't submit Xue Yang or a-Qing to them for testing (and likely torture and experimentation). A legal charge of beastiality would ruin Xingchen and any credibility and safety that the Yiling Sanctuary offers.
But the Yiling Patriarch himself has a fantastic idea.
"They can't blackmail us if we blackmail ourselves first!" he says, pointing his finger to his temple.
"Wei Ying, what the fuck?" everyone else replies.

Summary
Aberdeen, which had been home for so long (temporarily replaced for seven years by a castle in the countryside where she spent all of her youth in equal happiness and grief) was no longer home for her, she had come to realise upon returning. She had seen her parents, introduced them to her newborn son, and traveled up to London to update her details with the Ministry of Magic and realised again that despite how much she’d wished to live here as a child, England wasn’t her home either.
Her home, Cho thought with a warmth settling in her breast, was an apartment in the northwest of Sapporo with next to no ability to stay warm in the winter but was beautiful and cool in the summer. It was kneeling on the floor to have dinner with her husband and daughter, and holding her son in her arms.
Her parents had named her Cho Chang – free butterfly. They had always wished for her to be unhindered and to do whatever she wanted in life, and now she had finally fulfilled that.

Izuku has plans for everything.
He plans out what to say to the cashier when ordering coffee, he plans out his homework before even opening his textbook. He has a whole ten-year plan for how he’s going to get into UA’s hero course and get his hero license fully quirkless. He plans for every wild, unlikely scenario he can think of because his anxiety gets so bad if he doesn’t go through every possible outcome, every way his life could landslide into disaster–– but Izuku never planned for this.
For once, he doesn’t have a plan and he doesn’t have time to think of one. All he can see is Yagi-san’s lined, kind face looking resigned as he stares down the villain in his shop. Yagi-san, who is the closest thing to a father figure Izuku has ever had.
Izuku doesn’t think. He just moves.
(Or: Izuku saves the number one hero, gets a hero license way earlier than anyone wanted, realizes that maybe hero society isn’t as great as he thought it was, and everything just kind of falls apart from there.)
