Summary
When the first plan for getting EDITH falls apart, Quentin realizes he's going to have to spend more time convincing Peter to pass EDITH to him. A lot more time. He can pretend to be Peter's best friend and mentor for as long as it takes, though.
Or— he can pretend to be Peter's doting boyfriend for as long as it takes, if that's what Peter's looking for. Peter's a challenge, a puzzle he can't quite pick apart, but being fascinated by him isn't the same as getting attached. It's not like it means anything; he barely likes the kid, much less loves him.
He doesn't, right?

He is thrilled to realize that the opposing enemy general is Obi-Wan Kenobi, a Jedi he’d sworn to destroy when he was ten years old in revenge for the death of Maul.
