Chapter Text

The moment Lily Potter had gotten up to heaven she was met by 4 people and 2 were women and 2 were men and when she looked at them they smiled at her and the first man spoke.

“Fear not my child you are where you're meant to be” Male number one said.

Lily looks at the man and she wonders who he is and what he means.

“My name is farther destiny” Destiny says.

“And you three are who exactly?” Lily asks.

“I'm mother magic and this girl next to me is Ariana Dumbledore” Mother magic says.

Lily is shocked to come face to face with Dumbledore's sister and she is exactly like Bathilda Bagshot described her.

“Yes it's very surprising to meet me when you have heard the stories about me” Arianna says.

“Yes it is,” Lily says.

“More will be explained to you as time goes on but let me introduce the final member of our group and this is someone who can help your son, This is Death” Destiny says introducing the second male.

Lily feels like she is about to pass out and she wonders if a ghost can pass out.

“Lily I know it's surprising to meet us all and to not even get to process that you have died but at the moment we needed to meet you alone before your husband comes and meets you” Mother magic says.

“Why?” Lily asks.

Arianna looks at the others and they all nod their approval.

“Lily the reason you are meeting us before you meet your husband is that you seem to see through people and the lies they tell but it's the way you seem to see through the words being told and we believe that you will be able to help Harry more but also help someone else who loved you as his sister and regrets what happened between you both” Arianna says.

“Severus,” Lily says.

“Yes he is the one we speak of and he is going to need some guidance if he is meant to get to where he meant to be” Destiny says.

“How do I help him?” Lily asks.

“We are going to be bestowing some gifts on you and they will be able to help you watch and guide young Mister Snape as he is meant to find Harry and they both shall help each other through the pain they have gone through” Destiny says.

“But be warned as what you will witness will make you want to get involved but you must keep out of it as Harry needs to go through this” Mother Magic says.

Lily looks at them and she can tell that her baby will go through pain and she will want to get involved but if this what he needs to go through so he can meet Severus then she will stay out of it but once her son has been found by Severus than hell hath no fury like a witch scorned.

“Oh don't worry you will be able to get involved once Harry and Severus have found each other and Harry is destined to meet someone else” Arianna says.

“Who?” Lily asks.

“Your brother Evan,” Destiny says.

“He will be able to help them as he is going to have power” Arianna says.

“That's good. Can I watch over him as well?” Lily asks.

“I'm sorry but you need to focus on Harry but you will be able to warn Evan and Severus when the time comes” Destiny says.

Lily nods and she vows to herself to make Dumbledore pay for what he has done as she knows that he is to blame for what her son will go through.

Arianna looks at Lily Potter and she knows that her big brother is going to be begging for mercy and she is going to enjoy every moment of it.

Father Destiny,Mother Magic and Death all looked at one another and they knew that the right person had been chosen to receive these gifts.

Lily is surrounded by all members and as they chant she feels magic go through her and it's like a door has been opened as she can see different possibilities and sees what the group were talking about as when Lily looks at them she sees that they speak words of truth.

After bestowing the gifts on Lily the group disappeared and James starts to appear in front of her and Lily knows that she must keep quiet about what she is doing.

After shedding a few tears both Lily and James leave and James says Harry will be ok and Lily can see that her husband doesn't believe what he says but she will make sure to bring hell down on those who hurt her baby.

So Lily watched over the years as her son was subjected to terrible abuse by her sister and brother in law and she silently made sure to make her dear sister pay for what she did.

While Lily watched over Harry as the years went on this gave James a chance to talk to a few people and find out what Dumbledore was like and what really went on when he defeated Gellert Grindelwald as James feels like there is more to the story and he knew that Lily would know what to do with the information he had gathered.

She remembered what Mother Magic said and she did want to get involved but she also remembered what Destiny said and how Severus would be able to help her son but it wasn't time yet and Lily knew that so she thought of him and she suddenly found herself in his house and as she looked around she saw that it was filled with pictures of her and Severus and there was pictures of Evan as well and the one that caught her eye was a picture of all three of them.

It was Evans first year at Hogwarts and he was wearing the colours of Ravenclaw and she smiled as she knew that was the house he was meant to be in.

Lily is so busy remembering what the three of them got up to that she didn't hear the door open and nor did she hear the cup that fell to the ground and smashed everywhere.

“Lily” Severus says and he is in shock.

Lily turns around and she smiles at her brother and she can see the sadness in his eyes.

“Don't be sad Severus I promise I'm ok” Lily says.

“How can I not be sad?” Severus asks.

“I know it's hard but it was meant to be,” Lily says.

Severus lets a tear fall and he looks at his friend who to him is his sister in everything but blood and he hopes she has found peace.

“Why are you here?” Severus asks.

“I'm here to help you as you are meant to help Harry as it's your destiny” Lily says and she walks towards him.

“Why would I need to help Harry?” Severus asks.

“You know why as he is going to go through what you have been through and you both are going to be able to help each other and become the family you're meant to be,” Lily says.

Severus gets angry and he knows that Dumbledore has lied to him.

“He has been placed with your sister hasn't he?” Severus asks.

“Yes he has but I will tell you when it's time to save him but I must warn you that the event you will save him from is going to make you want to hurt Petunia and her husband but you must focus on Harry” Lily says.

Severus gives a nod and he promises to do as she says.

Lily disappears and Severus gets to work on what he must do and he knows that Albus Dumbledore is going to be destroyed.

Lily appears in her sister's house and she goes and sees her baby who is living in a boot cupboard and once she is inside she looks down at her sleeping son and promises that all will be ok and that mamma is fixing it.

After being with her son for a few minutes she smiled and she touched his cheek and blew him a kiss and she left.

The years went by and Harry suffered massive abuse. Lily knew that she had to stand back and watch but she made sure to keep Severus updated and the man made sure to have potions on hand and he always asked what event would make him go and save Harry and Lily never answered him.

Lily knew the moment Severus and Harry would meet was coming up and she wished that she could stop what her son was about to go through but she has learned that sometimes things work out in different ways.

Lily feels the magic in her and she knows this is the moment so she appears in front of Harry and sees him lying on the floor and Vernon holding a gun and she looks at the man and then looks at her sister and she finally sees her sister for the spiteful person she is.

Lily looks at her son and she kneels down.

“Help is coming my sweet boy just hold on until your father gets here” Lily says.

Harry looks at the woman in front of him and he is not scared and he knows to trust her.

Lily disappears and when she appears to Severus he looks at her.

“It's time, go and save him” Lily says and she disappears again.

Severus doesn't hang around; he is out the door the moment Lily disappeared.

Severus gets to Privet Drive and he heads to number 4 and he doesn't knock, he just enters and heads to the kitchen and when he opens the door he sees Petunia standing next to a fat man who Severus knows is her husband and he is holding a gun.

“Accio gun” Severus says and the gun lands in Severus' hand.

Petunia and Vernon look and they are angry that he is in their home.

“Don't even think of threatening me as I'm more dangerous than you ever will be and trust me I know spells that can hurt you and leave no sign of my involvement so keep your mouth closed” Severus says and he goes over to Harry and he looks at him and Lily was right he wants to harm the man who hurt Harry but he promised all those years ago to focus on Harry and that's what he does.

“Don't worry my child your dad's here now” Severus says and Harry locks eyes with him and Harry smiles as he closes his eyes.

Chapter Text

Severus picks Harry up and he immediately summons some blankets and he runs out the house and disappears to the hospital.

Petunia and Vernon look at each other and they quickly get to work on trying to hide what happened here but it looks like Destiny has other ideas.

Before both Dursley's can move Lily appears in front of them and she is angry.

“I do hope you aren't trying to cover up what you did to Harry because that wouldn't be very smart” Lily says.

“Lily is that you?” Petunia asks in shock.

“Oh it's me alright and it's about time you learnt what my son went through” Lily says.

Lily floats high above both Vernon and Petunia and suddenly the room starts to get cold and the cupboards start to shake and before Petunia or Vernon can say anything they are on the floor screaming out in pain.

Lily lets out all her anger and she shows her sister the power she has.

Petunia is on the floor and she is in so much pain and it's like she can't seem to stop what's happening to her.

Vernon looks like he is about to pass out and he begs Lily to stop.

“Why should I stop when you are only getting the punishment you deserve” Lily says.

“Lily please I beg you I've learnt my lesson” Petunia says.

“You haven't even begun to feel what my son went through” Lily says.

“What about Dudley?” Petunia asks.

“Your son has been given a different type of punishment for his actions in this” Lily says.

Lily made sure that when the time came that her nephew would be punished but she made Dudley see what Harry went through every time someone said his name and then he would have to tell people what's been happening to Harry and the abuse he has suffered throughout the years.

“Have you hurt him?” Vernon asks.

“Oh no I would never hurt a child unlike you and my dear sister” Lily says.

“Please Lily we have learnt from what we have done and we promise to be better people” Petunia says and tears are rolling down her face.

Lily sees through the lies her sister says and she smiles and even though she can no longer hold her son she knows she can do something that he would appreciate more than a hug.

Lily's eyes go completely dark and she brings down her full power and Petunia and Vernon feel every inch of the abuse they have subjected Harry to and they all so feel the anger Lily is feeling and after a few hours Lily floats back to the floor and her eyes are back to normal and she looks around and she smirks at how bad her sister and brother in law look.

Petunia and Vernon open their eyes and they see Lily standing in front of them and Petunia tries to get up but she can't and when she goes to speak it's like her voice won't make any sound and Petunia looks at her dead sister and the smirk she is getting is scaring her.

Vernon feels like he can't breathe and he tries to open his eyes but only one is opening and when he goes to get up he sees blood pouring out of his body.

“What you are experiencing is what my son had to go through and now you see what you did to him but don't be fooled as you will continue to feel these symptoms until I choose to break the spell and I may not break it” Lily says and she disappears.

Petunia looks around the kitchen and she sees the state it's in and she for the first time sees how powerful her sister is.

Severus arrives at a hospital and he immediately walks in and he demands help and 2 doctors come running to him straight away.

“What do we have?” The first doctor asks.

“His name is Harry Potter and he has been shot by his uncle who was abusing him” Severus says.

“OK sir thank you” The second doctor says and they take Harry to the operation room.

Severus goes and sits down on a chair and he hopes that he made it in time.

Los Angeles Bobby and Athena's House.

Bobby was in the kitchen and he was finishing the birthday cake he had been making for Buck.

Today the 118 were at Bobby and Athena's celebrating Buck's birthday and making a fuss over him.

“Bobby, are you ready yet?” Athena asks, coming into the kitchen.

“I'm nearly finished,” Bobby says.

“Bobby you have had plenty of time plus it's perfect already” Athena says.

“No it just needs some final touches” Bobby says.

“Robert Nash step away from that cake and that's an order” Athena says.

Bobby does as Athena says and he looks at her.

“Bobby I know you want the cake to be perfect but you are going overboard and the cake is beautiful and Buck will love it because you made it” Athena says.

Bobby appreciates Athena's words and Bobby knows Buck will love the cake because he made it.

“OK get everyone together and I'll walk out with it” Bobby says.

“OK. Alright guys it's time for the cake” Athena shouts as she walks outside.

Everyone looks at Athena and Buck is front and centre and Eddie is standing next to his husband and Chris is standing in front.

Bobby comes out with the cake and everyone starts to sing happy birthday to Buck and Chris is singing the loudest.

Buck starts to blush and he loves the cake Bobby made and when Bobby gets closer Buck pulls Chris up from the ground and he looks at him.

“OK buddy help me make a wish now” Buck says and they both close their eyes and blow out the candles and everyone cheers.

“Great job superman” Buck says.

Chris hugs his Bucky and he is glad that he is having fun at his party.

“OK I'll go cut you a slice” Bobby says.

“Bobby just put the cake on the table and let Buck cut it,” Hen says.

“Well just for that attitude you don't get a piece Henrietta” Bobby says.

Everyone laughs at the look Hen pulls and Bobby is smirking.

“Oh you did not just call me Henrietta, Robert Nash” Hen says but her tone of voice shows that she is laughing.

Buck cuts 2 slices and he gives one to Chris.

“OK buddy what's the verdict on the cake?” Buck asks.

Chris takes a bite and it has his favourite flavours in the cake and are chocolate and cherry.

“We like it,” Chris says.

“Well you heard the chief” Buck says and he takes a bite of his own cake.

Everyone gets given a slice and the party continues and the kids start to play a game that the adults are just confused by so they just let them get on with it.

Hen and Athena are talking about joining a kickboxing class or something.

May is talking to Ravi and she is laughing at something he has said.

Karen and Eddie are talking about this new show they can't wait to see and they are going to be making weekly phone calls to each other and talking about it.

Buck is sitting at the table and he is just happy to be observing everyone and he smiles to himself that he is and is so glad he had people around him who care and genuinely love him.

While Buck is watching everyone something catches his eye and he doesn't know what it is but Buck thinks it might have been his older sister but that's impossible as she can't astral project.

Bobby goes over to where Buck is and he sits down.

“You okay Buck?” Bobby asks.

Buck looks at Bobby and he smiles.

“Yeah I'm OK. Bobby I want to thank you for doing all of this and the cake is absolutely beautiful” Buck says.

“Buck You don't have to thank me but I'm glad you have enjoyed the party” Bobby says.

“I have enjoyed it and it's been a great day,” Buck says.

Bobby and Buck hug and Buck feels the love Bobby puts into the hug.

The two men pull apart and Buck looks at his watch and he sees it's getting late so he decides it's time to head home.

“I'm going to go and get Eddie and then we are going to get Chris and head home” Buck says.

Buck gets up and he feels a light headed so he quickly grabs the side arm of the chair.

Bobby gets up and goes over to him and he is worried.

“I got up way too fast that's all” Buck says.

Bobby still looks worried and he wants to say something but he keeps quiet.

Buck starts to walk to Eddie and then suddenly he is on the ground and he feels pain and he also feels the Potter family magic screaming out to him that something has happened to Lily and James.

“Buck” Bobby shouts out.

Everyone turns around and Eddie goes rushing over to his husband.

“Baby what's wrong?” Eddie asks.

“Somethings wrong with James and Lily,” Buck says.

“How do you know?” Eddie asks.

“I can feel the Potter family magic,” Buck says.

Eddie had only heard about Buck's sister and brother in law and from what Buck's told Eddie they seem nice, well better than Maddie at least.

“OK let's get you back home and then find out what's going on” Eddie says.

“Is Buck OK?” Karen asks as she watches Bobby and Eddie pull him up from the ground.

“Yeah. He just felt some family magic, that's all” Eddie says.

“I thought Maddie and the Buckley’s weren't magical?” Hen asks.

“Their not but Buck has another sister and her and Buck went to the same school” Eddie says.

“What school was that? As I only know of Ilvermorny School of Witchcraft and Wizardry” Athena says.

“We went to Hogwarts,” Buck says.

“Wait isn't that where He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named went” Athena says.

Bobby looks at his wife and he wonders what she is on about and who she is talking about.

“Yes but something is very wrong,” Buck says.

Before anyone can say anything else the room goes dark and they all look at each other.

“I'm not liking this one bit,” Hen says.

“Fear not Henrietta Wilson no harm will come to you” A female voice calls out.

“Lily, is that you?” Buck asks.

A bright light appears and a female forms in front of them and she has green eyes and red hair and she is clearly a ghost.

“Hello Evan” Lily says.

Buck looks at his sister and he sheds a tear.

“Don't cry for me baby brother I'm meant to be where I am supposed to be” Lily says.

“How did you die?” Buck asks.

“I died protecting Harry,” Lily says.

“But why would you need to protect Harry? Unless He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named found you guys” Buck says.

“He did and when he killed me he then tried to use the killing curse on Harry but it didn't work” Lily says.

“So what happened to him?” Eddie asks.

Lily looks at her brother-in law and she can tell the words he speaks are true and she knows he will love Harry just as much as Buck does.

“Harry was taken by Hagrid on Dumbledore's orders and they took him to Petunia to live with,” Lily says.

Buck's magic starts to come out and Lily can tell her brother is angry.

“There is more. After placing Harry on the doorstep of our sister's house he left knowing full well Harry would be subjected to abuse. After that things got bad for Harry and Dumbledore didn't care and at this moment Harry is in the hospital after being shot by Vernon” Lily says.

Buck is completely angry now and Eddie can tell his husband is angry and he looks at the others and the look on his face tells them to back away but Lily stops them.

“Evan at this moment you need to hold down your anger as Harry is going to need you and so is Severus so please focus on them” Lily says.

Buck looks at his sister and he wants to go and hurt Petunia but he does as Lily asks.

“I will transport you to where Severus is but you must go alone” Lily says to Buck.

“No Buck will not go by himself, one of us will go with him” Bobby says.

Lily looks at Bobby and she can tell he cares for her brother and his words have a certain colour to them and Lily knows that they are words of love.

“I'm sorry but you can not go with him” Lily says.

“Well then he is not going” Hen says.

Athena looks at Lily and they lock eyes and they are speaking through their eyes and Athena can tell that Lily loves Buck and she wouldn't hurt him and she also knows that she had a choice and she chose to leave her child without a mother if it meant saving his life and she has had to watch her child go through so much pain but she can also tell that Lily has power and this one woman you do not want to cross.

“Buck needs to do this by himself but once he has done what's needed then we focus on making sure that Harry is loved and protected as he is family and he is the boy who lived” Athena says.

“Athena, we don't know who this person is,” Hen says.

“Hen look at her and then tell me you don't trust her?” Athena asks her friend.

Hen locks eyes with Lily and just like Athena they have a silent conversation and Hen sees what Athena meant as Hen can tell that this woman regrets leaving her child but also loves Buck and can tell that she isn't afraid to unleash her full power.

After Hen has looked away she gives Athena a nod and Athena nods back.

“You be careful and make sure our nephew is ok” Eddie says to his husband.

“I promise to be careful and don't worry I'll be back before you know it” Buck says to everyone but he mainly looks at Bobby.

Lily closes her eyes and before anyone knows what's happened they are standing in the backyard again.

Buck opens his eyes and he is standing outside a hospital and Buck goes to the front doors and walks in.

Buck looks around and he can't spot Severus but he hears some yelling and he knows one of those voices belongs to his friend.

Buck walks further down the corridor and he sees Severus yelling at some poor nurse so Buck goes over.

“Severus Snape, you stop yelling at this nurse,” Buck says.

Severus looks at who called his name and he sees it's Buck.

Buck gets closer and he tells the nurse that his friend is sorry and didn't mean what he was saying and the nurse says it's fine and walks away.

“I can't believe you would yell at a nurse like that,” Buck says.

“I'm just nervous and I've tried sitting down but I end up getting up and walking around and then sitting down and then getting back up again” Severus says.

“I understand that but you have always treated people who work in hospitals with respect” Buck says.

“I know and I'll apologise to that nurse myself later but no one is telling me anything” Severus says.

“Come on, sit down and we will wait together,” Buck says.

Both men take a seat and they pray that Harry pulls through.

Lily watches on and she smiles as things are now coming into play and she knows her son is going to be with the family he deserves.

Chapter Text

The doctors are operating on Harry and they see that the bullet has actually done more damage as they can see that Harry's spine has been affected by the bullet going through it and shattering the spinal cord.

Everyone looks at each other and they all nod and the lead doctor makes the choice to remove the bullet and unfortunately he has to leave Harry's spinal cord the way it is as there is nothing they can do for him.

After treating Harry's other injuries and making sure that they were successful the doctor tells the nurse to close him up while he goes and speaks to the family.

The doctor who was treating Harry took his gown,hat,mask and gloves off and he washed his hands and then went to the nurses station and told the nurse to get a private room ready for Harry and he asked for the paperwork.

After going through a few things the doctor asks where Harry's family is and the nurse points to the two men sitting over at the window and the doctor walks towards them.

Severus sees a doctor coming towards them and he nudged Buck and the man looked up.

“Are you the family of Harry Potter?.” The Doctor asks.

“Yes I'm his uncle and this is his godfather.” Buck says.

“Ok. The operation went well and we were able to fix most of the damage the young Harry sustained and we do expect him to make a full recovery but unfortunately the bullet did actually cause some damage to his spinal cord.” The doctor says.

“How much damage?.” Severus asks.

“I'm sorry but unfortunately Harry is unable to ever walk again.” The doctor says.

Buck looks at Severus and he can see the anger building up and he knows if Severus explodes then no-one is safe.

“Thank you doctor. May we see Harry?.” Buck asks.

“Give me a few minutes to get him comfortable in his room and then I'll get a nurse to come and get you.” The doctor says.

“Thank you. We are just going to get some fresh air as it's a lot to process so I'm sure you understand.” Buck says.

“That's completely fine.” The doctor says and he goes and gets the room set up.

Severus and Buck walk outside and they find a dark alleyway and Severus feels like he may be sick.

“Severus, it's not as bad as it sounds.” Buck says.

“Not as bad as it sounds? Harry is going to be in a wheelchair for the rest of his life.” Severus says.

“And he can still do things.” Buck says.

“You don't know what you're talking about.” Severus says.

“I do know what I'm talking about as my son has CP and he never lets it get the best of him and he can still do things but in a different way so do not stand there and tell me I don't know what I'm talking about.” Buck says.

Buck is never one to get angry but when he does that's when you know you better hide.

Severus looks at Buck and he can tell the man is starting to get angry and Severus thinks back to when they were at school and someone called Buck a mudblood and Buck got angry and the person who called him it ended up in the hospital wing and they made sure to avoid Buck after that incident.

Buck may have been sorted into Ravenclaw but he isn't afraid to be a Slytherin when he needs to be.

“I'm sorry I didn't mean what I said.” Severus says.

“It's ok honestly.” Buck says.

“Look it's going to be hard for Harry and yes he is going to go through a lot of emotions but as long as he has us then he knows he can fight whatever battles come his way.” Buck says.

“You're right.” Severus says.

Severus knows he needs to be strong for Harry and it's true what Buck says as Severus remembers a student years ago who was in fact in a wheelchair and his name was Murphy McNully and he didn't let the fact that he was in a wheelchair get him down.

Buck and Severus head back in and they are stopped by a nurse who says that they can see Harry and both men follow her and once at the door to Harry's room she tells them that she will give them privacy and leaves.

Severus and Buck walk in and they see Harry sleeping and he looks peaceful and they can't understand why he would get left with Petunia at all.

Both men go to Harry and they take one of his hands and just hold it.

“Now that he is saved, the power he has will be unstoppable.” Lily says as she appears.

Buck and Severus look at Lily and they can see the hurt in her eyes.

“Did he really need to go through this?.” Severus asks.

“Severus I know you're angry but the power Harry has is going to bring our word together and stop Dumbledore but Harry needs to go through this so he will be able to understand his power.” Lily says.

“What power does he have?.” Buck asks.

“Harry is the master of death and he alone can control the hallows but he also has power that hasn't been seen in years.” Lily says.

“What kind of powers does he have?.” Buck asks.

“You'll find out in time baby brother.” Lily says.

Buck looks at his sister and she is smiling and Buck knows that smile.

“How do we help Harry?.” Severus asks.

“You need to get in touch with Lucius and Narcissa as they are to play a very important role in helping Harry.” Lily says.

“I'll do that myself.” Buck says.

“Sirius will also need to be set free from Azkaban.” Lily says.

“There is no way I'm letting that man near Harry at all.” Severus says.

“Severus I know how you feel but he needs to get to know Harry as he is a part of the Black family and Harry has Black blood in him.” Lily says.

“Fine but I set when Harry sees him and for how long and if he does anything to harm Harry he will never see him again.” Severus says.

Lily nods and she knows that it's going to take time for Severus to forget Sirius but she also knows that Severus will find love.

Harry starts to open his eyes and it takes him some time but when he does he sees his guardian angel and he waves to her and then he sees Severus and he holds tighter on to his hand.

Harry sees Buck who he doesn't know but he looks in Buck's eyes and they are telling him that they are eyes filled with love and understanding and also trust.

“Hello Harry I'm your uncle Evan but you can call me Buck.” Buck says.

Harry looks at him and then looks at his guardian angel.

Lily goes over to her son and she knows that he is wondering if he should trust Buck or not.

“You can trust him, my sweet boy.” Lily says.

Harry gives Buck's hand a squeeze and Buck gives Harry's hand a kiss.

“You are so loved, my baby boy and I know that it's going to be hard for you not to know me but I'm always here for you and I'll always be watching over you but trust the people you are going to meet as they will be the ones who can help you more.” Lily says.

Lily disappears but she blows a kiss to him.

Severus looks at Harry and he knows that he is going to have a battle on his hands but in his mind he is already planning on who Harry needs to meet and who can help them.

Buck knows that he is going to have to do a lot to help Severus but his nephew is the priority and Buck knows that Eddie will support him.

Harry starts to fall asleep and he is glad he has his new family.
