Chapter Text
Everyone woke up in an extremely crowded submarine. The thing was sure to explode if anyone else was on. Everyone was panicking. 007n7 was in the back of the submarine with his son, c00lkidd. c00lkidd was toying around with the Navigation Console.
"This is a friendly reminder that this submarine is outfitted with an Internal Defense System turret. Do not continue to interact with the console," spoke a monotone female voice.
007n7 pulled his son away from the console, "I don't think we should touch anything here again..." c00lkidd whined, but he complied with his father's orders.
After like thirty more seconds, the submarine arrived.
"Now Arriving. Please stand back from the hatch."
The hatch of the submarine opened up and folded out, making a bridge from the submarine to the dock. Everyone stopped mumbling and looked at each other.
"So? What is it? Are we gonna get out? I can't stand being around all of these... stinky, improper people!" pr3typriincess blew some hair out of her face and crossed her arms, huffing.
Elliot was second to speak up. "Eh..." he itched his scalp, then sighed. "I guess I'll go first."
He pushed past the others and exited the submarine slowly, expecting something to come out and molest him.
Another voice came on. "As discussed during your briefing, your primary objective is to secure and bring back the Crystal. Your secondary objective is to secure as many loose assets as possible. You've been equipped with a diving tank, allowing you to navigate any potentially flooded areas. You've also been equipped with a Crystal container, used for securing the crystal if, erh, when, you reach it. You have permission to use any additional equipment you may find. Our Navi-Path AI has marked the shortest route possible to your primary objective. It should be noted, that you'll mostly be left on your own, as we are currently busy managing multiple teams.We will tune in from time to time, if it matters in the moment. Open the door, and proceed when ready."
Everyone exited the submarine after seeing it was safe to. The submarine went back underwater shortly after.
1x1x1x1 held her head in her hands. "Great. We're stuck here. I'm stuck here with that annoying chicken freak..." they said through clenched teeth.
Shedletsky gave 1x a pat on the back. He almost got thrown into the water. Creations of hatred, am I right?
Two Time prayed to the Spawn under their breath. They held their dagger at their side, prepared to stab anyone who threatened them.
Guest 1337 approached the door. It had the number 100 at the top right. He assumed this was counting down. His head went down as he tried to imagine what could possibly be waiting at the end of this. "Looks like we need a card or something."
Noob was biting their nails, looking around and behind them almost every second. They flinched at even the slightest sounds. "G-guys, I don't like this..."
Guest 666 nudged Noob, trying to comfort them. He wagged his tail happily. Noob pet his head.
Elliot went to the left and crouched under some crates. He grabbed the keycard that was located on the table. He went back to the door and held the card out. The door opened, revealing a Z-shaped room. There were lockers and drawers and pipes. Elliot entered the room with caution and curiosity.
Noob panicked at a loud banging that sounded far away. They quickly ran to the nearest locker. Guest 666 noticed purple dots and breathing coming from inside the locker, but he just tilted his head, not really thinking much of it. Noob's feet stepped in something sticky. They gasped when they opened the locker, absolute horror showing on their face when the attack happened. Black tentacles wrapped around Noob, pulling them into the locker. The sounds of their screams where muffled by the locker. Guest 666 was too terrified to do anything. Elliot makes a move last second, opening the locker and pulling on Noob's leg, but it's no use. They're dead. Bye!
Guest 666 looks in the locker. He growls and turns to Elliot, who steps back, holding up his hands in defense. Guest 1337 pushes the demon to the side. He snarls and gives up.
Door 99.
It was similar to the last, but instead it just went forward. c00lkidd was on his father's back. The poor man looked tired already. bluudud and pr3typriincess were inspecting ever single drawer.
"YOU'RE HOGGING ALL OF THE STUFF!" she shoved bluudud to the ground and smacked his stupid blue face with a folder. The child cried and got up. He pushed the girl down and was about to punch her until 1x dragged him away.
Guest 1337 opened the next door.
Door 98
This room was went straight and down. There was a side with stairs and one without. He looked in all directions, checking for threats. He decided it was safe for the most part. He still didn't trust this place though. Something bad was going to happen again shortly, he could feel it.
Elliot followed right behind Guest 1337. His breathing was heavy.
"Why don't you go back with the others? You'll probably feel safer with the crowd." he gestured for Elliot to go.
Elliot returned to the slow-moving crowd. God, maybe if those stupid kids weren't here, they could be out by now. The crowed eventually moved into the room. bluudud tried to slide down the railing. His unnecessarily round head hit the hard floor with a crack. Poor guy. Don't worry, he didn't break or lose anything, at least yet. Jason helped him up.
"Ki ki ma ma."
You couldn't see it, but he was smiling.
"Uh, yeah, thanks buddy." bluudud smiled awkwardly.
Shedletsky was searching the drawers and was lucky enough to find a flashlight. He assumed it would be useful, because, well, it's a flashlight. They would probably be in the dark sometime. He put the flashlight in his pocket and moved forward.
Door 97
The room was L-shaped. It had another door with a beige frame around it across from the door they entered. It didn't have a number to it, so they assumed it was a just a side room.
Everyone was mostly spread out now. There was no longer much of a crowd. Two Time, John Doe and Builderman were in the back. Shedletsky, Elliot, and Guest 1337 were in the front. Everyone else was in between.
Elliot went into the side room. It was an office with a couch, four desks in the middle, and two smaller lockers. c00lkidd hopped off his dad's back immediately when he saw the computers. He was upset to find out the computers didn't turn on, but with the help of his c00lgui he was able to get it on somehow. He shouldn't even have that here. bluudud snuck up behind him and search Twitch on Google. He was about to log in when pr3typriincess knocked both of them to the side and decided to look on Amazon for dresses. Chance dragged the kids out of the room. They closed the door, leaving Elliot inside.
Elliot searched the drawers and lockers. He found some research, but nothing else. He came out of the room and met with Guest 1337 near the next door. Guest 1337 headed through the next door.
Door 96
This room was the biggest so far. It went straight. had a huge window and another path that was unreachable to the right. There were a few lockers to the left. Guest 1337 took no time to analyze any of this, though. He sprinted to the next door but stopped and decided to wait for at least three more people. John Doe finally caught up somehow. He was growling at Gasharpoon.
"What? We have to find that Whale! And YOU'RE just mumbling useless nonsense. Now, back to my duties." she pushed John Doe to the side and continued straight to the door.
Both of their right arms were scraping on the floor. It was so annoying. Shedletsky followed behind the two. He low-key wished something bad would happen to them. Anything to stop that sound, I guess.
In the far back, Two Time was still at Door 98, giggling behind Builderman. He knew this place would have some weird effect on the cultist. He just shrugged it off and went into the next room. Two Time would occasionally sneak up behind Builderman and scare him. The both of them caught up with Taph.
"🔚🔜❓️" the emojis popped up over his head.
"Uh, I don't know, buddy." he sighed. Two Time just giggled maniacally. The three eventually got back to everyone.
Door 95
Another long straight room with a few lockers.
The lights flickered. Guest 1337 had a feeling something was going to come any second now. But he would be the one to fight off whatever came, right?
Guest 666 looked around. He could hear something that the others couldn't. It was the roar of something slowly approaching. He knew it was big, too.
Eventually, the roar got louder and alerted everyone. Everyone was trying to find a hiding place. Some went in lockers, others went in the office room. Dusekkar stayed out and thought he would be able to stop the creature with some magic. Guest 1337 was already in a fighting stance, waiting.
The roar got louder and louder until the lights went out as the creature passed. All Dusekkar and Guest 1337 saw before dying was the terrifying sight of the creature's sharp teeth and soulless eyes. Their life was taken immediately as soon as it touched them.
Shedletsky came out of his locker and turned on his flashlight. His face showed pure horror when he saw Dusekkar's and Guest's lifeless bodies on the ground. He got down and shook both of them, giving up when he didn't get a response.
Elliot spotted the corpses.
"Oh..."
Pizza won't fix this.
Chance nudged Guest's head with his foot. "Sure they aren't just shocked?"
Shedletsky looked around. "I'm sure. They aren't breathing," he put two fingers on their wrists, checking their pulse. Nothing. "No heartbeat either..." he stood up.
Builderman speaks from the back of the group, "Whatever killed them must've done it in an instant."
"'Sentry down!' amirite?" yelled Chance. They really weren't helping. Builderman gave him the stink eye.
Two Time was next to speak, "They'll respawn right? I prayed to the Spawn." they were shaking as they spoke, their pupils small.
Elliot stutters, "S-so, uh, I guess we just hide next time the lights flicker?"
Everyone nodded.
Shedletsky handed Elliot the flashlight. "Alright, I guess I'll lead..." He shined the light on the next door and went forward.
bluudud almost started crying when he saw his idol's corpse, but he remembered to be strong.
Door 94
This room was dark and had a door straight ahead, but it didn't have a number. Instead, it had a red --. To the left, there were stairs leading up. Elliot went up the stairs and screamed when the light was shined onto a black, squid-like creature. It had two white eyes. It was making an airy "uhh" sound. The author does not know how to describe sounds. He kept the light on the creature, unknowing of what to do. Elliot suspected it was not hostile until it got its face directly in front of his, making his vision go white for a bit. He screamed and dropped the flashlight. Elliot wiped his eyes and looked around. He felt horrible.
"Oookay, then..." his heart was beating like crazy.
007n7 picked up the fallen flashlight. "Uh, I can lead the way if you'd like..."
Elliot didn't say anything. He just sighed and stepped to the side, letting his demon child follow him into the next room.
Door 93
Luckily, the lights were back on. This room had three ways: left, right, and forward. Each had the number 92.
007n7 was being followed by the three children. He turned off the light with a click. He was surprised they haven't killed each other yet. pr3typriincess got in the middle and looked around.
"Um, which way? I'd like the one that gets us out of here." she crossed her arms.
Chance stepped forward.
"Bro, this is a total gamble! Anything could be behind those doors! I'm gonna take a chance and choose..." their head snapped to the left, "this one!"
He walked over to the door. They swore they heard growling, but it didn't bother him. He opened the door and was attacked by a monster with huge claws. They fell on their butt, his eyes wide with terror. Its body was red, it was probably flesh. Its face was white. It looked like it was wearing a mask.
"Seriously!? How are you this stupid?"
The door number was now a face that looked like it was drawn in one of those retro painting applications. It quickly went back to normal after it was done yelling at them.
Chance got up and rubbed his sore backside. They looked quite embarrassed.
"Lost a bet, huh?" Mafioso's ears twitched, "Should've told you, I heard growling behind that door." he chuckled and held his beloved bunny, Gubby, close to his chest.
"Bitch..." Chance swore under his breath. Gubby winked at them.
Mafioso opened the correct door and gestured for 007n7 to go first.
Door 92
There was a huge pit in the middle of the room. Glory to the Spawn, there was a pipe that was big enough to crawl through that went to the other side. 007n7 let the kids go first.
"Hurry up, fatties!" pr3typriincess yelled at bluudud and c00lkidd, "you're stinking up the entire tube!"
Two Time stared at the hole, wondering what was down there. They sighed and crawled through the pipe, reaching the other side safely.
John Doe and Gasharpoon let everybody go before them, because obviously they would have some trouble with their long ass arm. With tons of struggling plus the power of friendship, they finally reached the opposite side.
Taph opened the door.
Door 91
The other side of the room could not be seen, as there was a huge boulder that seemed to have fell and blocked it. There was water in surrounding the front of the stone. Green lights could be seen.
Taph rubbed his head, "🏊♂️❓️"
007n7 nodded, "Yeah, I think so..." he fixed up his own diving gear and the kid's and dived in.
The water was a decent temperature and clear enough to see. He swam down and thought it was a dead end until he looked up. He swam up and got to the other side of the room.
"Come!" he shouted.
It took a while, but everyone swam to the other side. Everyone was wet and dripping. 007n7 braced himself to open the next door.
Door 90
This room had two sides, both doors had the red --. Straight ahead, there were metal stairs that led down to a small platform and to the next door.
Ten doors so far, we can do this, Elliot thought to himself. He took the lead, stepping down the stairs carefully. 007n7 followed right behind him. Elliot's jaw dropped when the door opened.
It was gorgeous. The room was lit with soft light. A large tree was in the middle, surrounded by an octagon shaped path. The air smelled so fresh and pure, he wanted to eat it. He inhaled the air, exhaling shortly after.
Elliot snapped out of his trance and walked on the path. He got to the next door, but he waited for everyone to catch up.
"Come on, guys!" he shouted across the room.
