It has been a long upheld truth of our great nation that after the twin falls of the disgraced Fire Lord Ozai and Princess Azula, and their subsequent imprisonments, neither of the two ever regained contact with our well-respected Fire Lord Zuko. While Fire Lord Zuko ensured the humane holding conditions of his estranged father and sister immediately after his ascension to the throne, he reportedly never saw a need to continue communications with them. Before writing this book, my answer to such an obvious statement would have been, "Blasting flames—well of course he didn't!" Now, though, my answer would be quite different. But best leave that til later.
Fire Lord Zuko, when questioned about such matters, only ever gave one answer in response, saying: “A true leader has no need for snakes and scoundrels. Dragons are far superior.”
Given his far more professional reply, it is no wonder that he was the fire lord and I am a less-than-humble scholar.

Summary
Sakura has already come a long way since he arrived at Furin and became the leader of his group. Being surrounded by so many people that actually cared for him and didn’t judge him was still unbelievably and difficult to accept for him, but at least he was trying. He’s still not free from his past or his insecurities, nonetheless he was leaning more into the warmth that the people of the town and his friends gave him.
He wasn’t a bad person, he was trying his best and learning to accept his humanity and himself.
That’s why he didn’t lose to Endo. That’s why he believed in Endo’s words and even helped him. The reason he accepted to meet with him another time after the fight, after everything he caused.
And now that’s why he’s here, waiting for Endo to choose his fifth consecutive prize on one of the fair stands. He wasn’t pretty sure, but the salesman didn’t look happy at all at Endo’s greediness, so probably they were gonna be kicked out soon.

A strike was aimed for his face; he managed to dodge. The brass knuckles skimmed his cheek, but nothing worse. His ribs throbbed, but he still spun his nunchaku and when his opponent lunged in for another hit, caught their arm in the chain and slammed them into the arena floor.
The crowd groaned in sympathy, but the dragonfly was up and darting around the arena before they finished.
He could feel the ratcheting increase of alertness as the adrenaline began flowing through his body. He hit the switch in one of his nunchaku handles and the blade popped out, and he hit the switch on the other end that held the chain extensions. The chains pooled onto the arena floor as his opponent sped around the arena at dizzying speeds.
