Summary
Stede Bonnet has had some ill-conceived ideas in his life, but setting up a fancy little floral shop in the worst part of town was probably one of the worst. What could he say? He was much more a dreamer than a realist.
The shop was a charming little fixer-upper near his brand new apartment–Price-cut for the area’s recent increase in crime. Maybe he should have done a closer read on the lease he signed…
Now several thousand dollars deep in his investment, Mr. Bonnet is determined to keep his quaint little shop afloat, but he’s not quite sure how…
The neighborhood's not so bad, there’s a grungy tattoo parlor across the street that he’s taken to watching when business is slow.
The alternative lifestyle had always fascinated him– But he might have never mustered the courage to go over there if it hadn't been for a miss-delivered package addressed to one Edward Teach, the supposed and mysterious owner of Blackbeard’s Tattoos and Piercings. And Stede Bonnet was nothing if not a good samaritan.

Summary
Stabbed by the Kraken to protect Stede at his return to the Revenge, Izzy is brought to the Bonnet Estate to recover under Mary’s supervision. He bides his time, waiting for Edward to return – but when he learns of Blackbeard’s death at Ocracoke, he has to choose what to make out of the wreckage that his life has turned into.
Luckily, Mary is very good at keeping Izzy busy – there is always some work to do on an estate this size, after all – and with the Bonnets and their circle of friends (and more), Izzy might just get a new chance at finding a place to call home… and a family.

Summary
And then, the most beautiful man walked through the door. Blond hair, full and with curls so perfect, Ed wanted to slide his fingers through it and mess it up. Green-hazel eyes, a warm smile, and a well-fitted suit in bright teal. How anyone could pull that off, Ed didn't know, but this man did. He was barrel-chested, with arms Ed thought would feel very good wrapped around him. And he was looking in Ed's direction. Or Mary's, more likely. The blond looked confused, and how the fuck does he look both sexy and confused? "Do I have a boyfriend now?" The man said, and Ed knew he must be Stede. "Only, Nigel seemed certain that I do."
Or, An adventure on the fake-boyfriends-to-real-boyfriends pipeline.

Summary
“Hey! Get away from the edge,” someone shouted, their voice alarmed. Stede almost jumped out of his skin at the unexpected presence, but he did as told, stumbling away from the cliff's edge and into safer ground. “Are you crazy, mate? You fall, you’re dead.”
And later, much later, Stede would say it was love at first sight. But for now, he stood there, breathless from fear and something else, something more, as he turned to face Edward Teach for the first time.
–––
Following a stressful but amicable divorce with his former wife Mary, Stede Bonnet decides to leave his old life behind for a summer. In search of inspiration to begin writing his first novel, he ends up in the small and charming coastal town of Queen’s Revenge. There, the urban legend of the Kraken and the peculiar townspeople are enough to inspire him. But writing inspiration is not all he finds. Edward Teach, the owner of the most notable restaurant in town, not only manages to capture Stede’s interest by being one of the few people Stede easily connects with, but by having a strange and puzzling past of his own. -

Summary
Since Mary returned to her blissful life of widowhood after helping Stede fake his death, she and Doug have been exploring her sexuality. Recently, she’s been particularly enjoying inviting other people into their bed. It’s been all women thus far—all widowed women, to be precise. But what Mary really wants is to invite another man to join them. Unfortunately, there is not a single man from Bridgetown, or even all of Barbados, that Mary trusts enough to even propose the idea to.
When Stede and Ed unexpectedly appear on her doorstep, Mary is struck with a wild idea: Ed’s not from Bridgetown; he’s not even from Barbados.
Yes. Ed could work.
