    Athena’s eyes flash and glow, and she raises her hands. Annabeth closes her eyes, and everything in the air sizzles to a stop. There is a faint sea breeze, and then a familiar presence at her side.

    “It would be unwise of you to hurt her.”

    She opens her eyes to her boyfriend’s dad standing behind her, his eyes intent on her mother, who looks like she’s about to blow her top. Annabeth doesn’t breathe, doesn’t look away from Athena, but she takes several quick steps back to stand at Poseidon’s side. It’s not conscious; it’s a move based purely on self-preservation. Still, Annabeth is aware that every step she takes into the sea increases her mother’s ire and decreases the likelihood that Annabeth will ever be forgiven.

    aka: Poseidon wants Percy to ascend. He'd like it even better if Percy chose to ascend. And if the best reason to become a god is for love, it doesn't take Poseidon long to realize that he doesn't have to look any further than Annabeth Chase. Meanwhile, while Annabeth is balancing PTSD, protecting Percy, and being a good daughter of a goddess who doesn't seem to care, she now has to figure out why she is on Poseidon's radar.

    Andie caught his arm, forcing him to stop and look at her. “What the hell is up with you?”

    He stared down at her- he’d shot up even more over spring, and now stood a full head taller than her. After a moment, he let out a humorless laugh, shaking his head. “Just forget it, Andie.”

    He yanked his arm out of her grip, and continued walking toward York Avenue. She sighed and stalked after him.

Still, at twelve, he discovered his heritage and returned the Symbols of Power, traversed the Sea of Monsters and saved the only place he could call home. He believed his mother was out there, somewhere, just waiting to be rescued.

    But Sally didn't wait to be saved. She was in the very last place he thought to look.

    Percy’s always known he was a bit different from the other children. The other children didn’t have sharp teeth or claws. The other children didn’t have scales or gills. The other children weren’t able to detect when someone was coming up behind them by the way their footsteps sounded, even if you were across the street. The other children couldn’t see the future or the past in their dreams or flashes of someone's fate when he looked at them. They weren’t able to hear the sound of someone’s breath from 30 feet away.

    But Percy was okay with that. He didn’t need any of the other kids. They stayed away from him even if they couldn’t see his ever-changing eyes that could stare into your soul or his too-long fingers with claws instead of nails. But that was okay, he told himself, he had his Mom, Auntie Bronze, and Apollo, and that was all he needed.

    Or,

    Percy Jackson is a mischievous little shit with baby seal eyes and a talent for getting gods wrapped around his fingers.

After a summer full of strange encounters and too many questions left unanswered, all he wants is to make sure he still has friends after a silent summer, to play quidditch, and to focus on school. No chaos like last year. Simple, right?

    Yeah, not happening.

    Now students are turning up petrified, there are whispers in the walls that only he can hear, and apparently speaking snake is a thing—and somehow, it’s a very big deal. Percy doesn't really understand.

It features a story where Percy Jackson is Harry Potter due to mysterious circumstances, and he has to save both worlds. I would highly recommend you go read the first two stories in order to follow this one. If not, I commend you on your effort, but you will be very confused.

He's been tasked with retuning Zeus's master lightning bolt, and it only gets worse from there. His only saving grace is that Hera is more then willing to fight her husband and argue in the boy's favor as a gift for being devoted like his mother, Sally Jackson, with many prayers and offerings.

    (AKA: In which, Hera is not a bitch for once and actually good at her job, Hestia loves her niblings, Sally is a BAMF and a wonderful Mom, and Hera looks at the unclaimed kid and says "It's free real estate".)
