When Yukizome somehow manages to pick the worst possible man, it brings Munakata and Sakakura closer together as Munakata realizes (for the second time) that this is a shitshow he needs help shutting down. Will everybody finally learn or is this trio doomed to live in this miserable hopeless cycle? Will Yukizome finally find somebody right for her? He couldn't help a question, that if he was given a chance to repent himself of his sins, to be rid of her long before they acquainted one another, would he really dare to attempt such a deed? He himself didn’t know the answers for such thoughts, for only his logical bit of him had insisted on such progress. All the while his emotional parts keep denying such assumptions, evidenced by only the precious memories that came to accompany his life for the past few days.
Set genuinely agreed with the latter’s choice, for the pain that he came to bear without her presence was that he didn't know he would be detesting so much. Yet, he also couldn't bring himself to argue against his former thoughts, for she was what had defined his doom, burning all that he came to build himself to ashes.
Truly, what even is everything that he achieved in front of such struggle?
