The rustling of wind and the sudden appearance of his godmother catch him more than a little off guard, pulling his focus from the alleys below.
“You’re a little outside your usual jurisdiction, aren’t you, Wonder Woman?” he asks. “What’s wrong?”
"There is a situation,” Diana replies. "I am here on behalf of the League to request your assistance."

Summary
Most of Bruce’s attention is on ensuring Tim and Jason don’t set anything other than the marshmallows on fire, but he catches motion from Dick in his periphery and turns to check on his eldest. Dick is sitting up straight, body entirely rigid, expression blank, eyes glassy: all signs that he’s been triggered by something - and very possibly descending into a flashback.
The longer the moment stretches, the more Bruce’s anxiety builds. Tears well up in Dick’s eyes and eventually overflow. Bruce braces for the heartbreaking fallout of whatever torment his son is currently reliving.
And then Dick *laughs*

Honestly, Jason’s favorite thing about this place isn’t anything to do with the apartment and everything to do with their new neighbor, Miss Dot. Anybody who wants can pitch in on ingredients, and then Miss Dot cooks up enough supper for everybody most nights. Jason and the other kids take turns helping her with grocery shopping, and she puts them to work helping with prep and teaching them how to cook, if they want. In theory, the recipes are just simple food that scales up easily; they should be decent enough, but Jason swears Miss Dot has some kind of magical secret ingredient because everything she makes is amazing.
