"I beg of you, let him live, don't let him feel the pain of your anger just as I have," they pleaded, words laced with an ungodly desperation.
Her shimmering gaze laid over them, like a light awaiting them through the darkness, but she had dropped them into this void first.
She didn't speak, never did, but her cold expression made it clear their attempts were fruitless against her anger for the mortal they'd so loved.

It was a temporary escape. Another attempt at running away - however, faced with an unruly batch of problem children and glimpses of their past, they can't run away anymore. The region of Huaxia dimmed and bled by the week. Once again, Yue Huan had to see eye-to-eye with their past, a conflicted region, and their troubled students. Worst of all, they had to confront themselves.
