It’s hard for Jayce to recount what happened, and sometimes, when he does try, it ends up feeling like he’s been flashbanged, the pounding in his head immediately deterring him from the thoughts. Viktor would look concerned with him, then, and ask a soft “Are you alright, Jayce?”
Jayce would snip the conversation in the bud with a sharp nod, and that would be it. After all, what would he even say? How do you tell your partner that the monster you both created, inhabiting his body, put Jayce through things that most probably gave him permanent brain damage?
