The gentle murmurs weren't enough to drown out the blood that roared in his ears as he stared into the boaring eyes of him.
Images of blood gushing out of the bone hill flashed, and another image flashed again, this time being when he had killed Redtail. The way he would glare with nothing but malice and the pure hunger to kill deeply haunted him, and it was only then that he realized that Fireheart was trying to snap him out of the trance.
Tigerstar was back.

This will spoil a LOT of things throughout the series, including how most characters die, and their relationships among other key plot points. If you don't care about that or already know, feel free to proceed. The major characters will also be referred to by their final names, such as Rusty, Firepaw, and Fireheart, being called Firestar regardless of what their actual names should be. The exception is when other characters are speaking to them, and do not know their full name.
Heavily inspired by The Amagi's Naruto series what-ifs of the same situation.
I own none of these characters or the franchise they're from, obviously.

Tensions after Cloudtail's warrior ceremony are high, and Swiftpaw lashes out at Longtail. Well, he didn't mean to, but he can't take it back. He'll have to apologize in the morning. After all, they are brothers and Swiftpaw loves Longtail with all his heart.
But first, Swiftpaw and Brightpaw have a creature to kill. It's been killing their prey. If they can get rid of it, Bluestar wouldn't be able to ignore them any longer. Swiftpaw and Brightpaw will be warriors at last. It's the perfect plan.
