Initially started as a 'what if fairies did organized crime', GTA/Scarface/Sopranos-esque parody, it turned into something more convoluted and ambitious. A simple parody would get boring, after all. Gets more serious around the middle—actions tend to have consequences. Don't expect it to become too dramatic—it's, in the end, still a story about fairies.
Escalations upon escalations, zero shipping, random references to old movies, sudden musings on freedom and determinism, defying expectations while trying to keep the internal logic of the world coherent. -
