Summary
It's been three months since the Joker was killed by the League of Assassins. Dick has been on the run from Slade, Bruce and the League alike. There had been a few close calls where he narrowly escaped them. Despite the danger, the teenager continues to use the skills taught him by both parties to avoid them. Even though the young hero is still mad about his guardian's actions.
In New York, Dick bumps into Selina Kyle. She recognizes him and asks about his avoidance of Bruce. Dick tells her the truth and she allows him to crash at her apartment. Over a few weeks she begins to tutor him in the art of being a thief. Teaching him the finer points of pickpocketing, stealth and agility. With the training, his gymnastics background is emphasized. He doesn't stay long in the city. The League is closing in on him and the last thing he wants to do is get her involved. Not to mention his father had been too quiet. And so the game of cat and Mouse continues.

He's supposed to wear bright spandex like skin and have white lenses for eyes. The brown hair sprouting from his head doesn't instill a sense of rightness in his heart. The slope of his nose and set of his lips might as well have been freshly molded out of clay. His eyes—a deep brown, framed by thick eyelashes—aren't something he's grown up seeing in the mirror every morning. He has to notice these things. They're not things he knows.
There's no itch in the back of his head telling him that this is right. That this is him. It's just silent, and it makes something in his chest curl with a bone-deep dread.
Who is he supposed to be?
When Doctor Strange casts the spell to make everyone forget Peter Parker, it affects everyone—including Peter. With his memory of his civilian life gone, Spider-Man has to navigate a city he's pretty sure he's not supposed to be in with no real idea of his circumstances. The city's vigilantes are the worst part, though—why do they all seem to hate him so much?

While he would have liked to introduce Gabe to the wrath of Medusa earlier, that only happened after his first quest. At ten years old after his mother's death, Percy did not stand up at fight. He ran. He ran and ran and ran until he collapsed in an alleyway, near ready to follow his mother's descent. He may have been successful, if he hadn't met Gotham's Dark Knight. Percy sat up in his bed, his memories effectively pushing the sleep from his system. Batman had scooped him up and whispered promises of a better life, one with his friend Bruce Wayne. Percy could never recollect how he ended up in a plush bed inside Wayne Manor that same night, or how he ended up joining the coveted Wayne family. After Jason Todd died, Dick Grayson disappeared from the eyes of the public. It takes six months for the hero community to realize. By the time they do, he's gone, disappeared into the shadows. Within weeks of his dissappearance, villains notice that their favorite (tolerated) vigilante is gone. But they don't have any better luck at finding him. No matter where they look he's gone.
Almost a decade later, a contract goes out. A former agent with the CIA has a price on his head. The bounty is higher to bring him in alive but dead is acceptable. All of the usual suspects, and a few unusuals, take the contract. Deadshot, Cheshire, Sportsmaster, Deathstroke, and others all begin hunting the man known as Delta, the most elusive ghost of the Medusa Program. They know his code name and very little else.
Deathstroke aka Slade Wilson, comes across him by chance in Spain. Only to meet a familiar face if colder for what he's done.
