The post-it notes started as something of a joke. Buck would leave them at random places in the Diaz household as reminders of food left in the fridge for heating up on days off or reminders for Eddie about assignments Christopher had due. Eddie had poked fun at Buck, asking if Buck didn’t trust Eddie to take care of his kid, but then Buck had blushed and that stupid soft smile formed on his lips and he looked at the ground and Eddie wanted to slip his arms around his waist and thank him for caring.
