Description: The triumvirate are on shore leave to have a relaxing time on a beach until Spock runs into an old acquaintance which Kirk is not happy about. It is not like Kirk and Spock are in a relationship, but due to feeling betrayed, it seems the captain can't help but let his jealousy be known possibly exposing his real feelings for Spock. Dr. McCoy is stuck in the middle of his friends' shenanigans almost wishing he had just stayed on the ship; it is bad enough the two already acted like a couple and he felt like a third wheel most of the time he was around them.

Jim's studying to take the notorious Kobayashi Maru simulation for the second time, when one windy Thursday morning he collides with a tall stranger on the way to campus. After a brief chat, they part ways - seemingly forever, until an intrigued Commander Spock decides to contact the cadet who retook his unbeatable sim. Then he gets invited onto the student radio he's been hearing all about during class. The result? An electric discussion that sparks a timeline-defying connection.Featuring my unasked for music recommendations shoved in under the pretence of creativity, as many discarded/mistreated-by-canon female characters I can fit in this damn thing, and more use of italics than can possibly be considered sane, tune in, sit back, and welcome to the show.

A strange woman wearing a green ring, a warrior from Earth's past and a seemingly sentient sphere...Sounds pretty weird, right? But this band of misfits came together for a reason, and the heroic crew of the Enterprise are soon about to learn that.
The woman, Jaylah, is the sole survivor of the space pirate clan Sitrian, the second-born daughter of its leader. Her family and her clan were wiped out years ago, by an evil man named Krall who she slew using her ring which, apparently, the universe bestowed upon her. She fueled it with the void in her soul, overcharging the ring with her corrupt willpower and avenged her family.
Afterwards, she embarked on a space adventure, meeting her two companions in the process. Now she has taken it upon herself to right all the wrongs in this universe...as its first Green Lantern!
When strange new villains arise, and sinister scoundrels poison the mind of the meek...only one person can save the day, and you will know her name.

Then Leonard noticed the lights were tinted wrong and the insignia of the Terran Empire had disappeared from the wall. “Jim,” he hissed.
Jim saw. The look in his eyes changed.
Then the door to the transporter room hissed open and Spock came in, and Spock was dressed differently and had shaved his beard so clean it was like it had never existed. Just like the disappearance of the insignia.
Leonard was struck silent with terrible fear.

Spock has worried over this task for a lifetime, and came up with a failsafe that might just save the Vulcan that exists in the next universe. The failsafe also involves deeply selfish things, but you can't fault an old man for wanting the youth to have more opportunities than he ever could.
He sends drones ahead of him into the black hole, hoping that the automated programming he coded into them will change the past for the better.
Mostly a romantic academy-era drama until a world is ending and they need to stop it from the point of view of the younger Spock and Jim Kirk.
Or: If Jim Kirk can cheat his way out of a no-win simulation with some code, Spock can do it in real life with some time travel.
