Kakashi Hatake has died. Genius, friend-killer, Anbu Black Ops, Sensei, Hokage and ex-Hokage. After the death of Gai and his students, Kakashi turned his attention back to Anbu and the darkness, until he finally died an honourable death on the battlefield at an advanced age.
In another dimension, a much younger Kakashi dies on an important mission, whereupon Minato, Rin and Obito try to bring their Kakashi back to life with a modified seal of Edo-tensei. But instead they summon ex-Hokage Anbu Commander Kakashi Hatake.

Summary
Kakashi deserts Konoha with number-one, brand-new, freshly-banished, the legendary nukenin Orochimaru. He's not sure why the Sannin wanted his suicidal, depressed ass to come with but he's so broken and sad and pitiful he says yes. On one condition. No experiments. Well, potayto, potahto is what Orochimaru says. Now starting a new life with a crazy madman who thinks it's okay to stick people with needles, Kakashi has to come to terms with a lot of things. Namely, his depression and anxiety, the general horror that has been his early to mid childhood, his lost clan history, and right of course, the crazy snake Sannin who keeps calling him things like 'my dear' and a 'pet'.
Yeah, Kakashi is not certain he made the most sound decision but it's made and now it's time to see where it'll take him. He really hopes he won't have to deal with a new discovery about his sexuality or the sudden emergence of a long-thought dead teammate on top of everything else too...

Where Sakumo was Orochimaru’s “friend”, so he might as well invite Kakashi along for a nuke-min field trip and see what experiments he can do with Hatake white chakra.
Odd relationship (at least in 1st chapter), with Orochimaru acting like his usual creepy self, but the 2 of them stick together. Unique idea, and I am interested.I quote some of the commenters: “This is...bizarrely twisted and yet wholesome”.
Morals, haha, what?
- both of them are from wild clans. Orochimaru is something like a parental figure that you also do not want, but literally do not have any other option because all the other options are DEAD.
- emphasis on ‘creepy’, because bro does call Kakashi “pup”, “good dog”. But in the way you look at an actual baby dog (as if this is not a teenage ANBU. To be fair, if your consider Orochimaru an adult, Kakashi might as well be a kid compared to him, so… . Idk why I’m trying to reason with myself.)
