Summary
When Azula challenged Zuko to an Agni Kai on the day of Sozin’s Comet, she set in motion a succession by right of challenge. The Agni Kai left Azula defeated, and Zuko claimed his ascendency.
With Zuko on the mend, the Fire Nation prepares for his formal coronation.
But a faction of careful observers approach with a problem: before Azula was defeated, she left Zuko mortally wounded, unable to complete the Agni Kai. The bending master who actually defeated Azula, the true Fire Lord by right of challenge…was Katara of the Southern Water Tribe.

Summary
Katara flinches as the guard pushes the needle into Zuko’s leg, the knife that’s pressed against her throat not quite splitting the skin.
Zuko doesn’t flinch, doesn’t even look. His eyes are locked on her. Katara doesn’t know why she didn’t realize that he’s do anything, anything, to keep her safe.
Katara and Zuko are captured during the confrontation with Yon Rha. Their imprisonment in the water bender’s prison is awful, but survivable. The bending suppressant Zuko’s being forced to take might not be.

Summary
Katara never really cared for the stories, but now, holding the Avatar’s heart in her hand, soaking herself in his blood, she wondered if anyone would notice if she made a few amendments.
First: The avatar is dead
Second: No one can save you
Alternatively: A role reversal AU wherein Katara and Sokka replace Zuko and Azula, respectively. A few changes are made, however. The largest being that the Avatar is dead. The next is that soon, all benders will meet the same fate, including the very one that killed him.
No matter what the people may think, no matter what the history books might say, they will never know that in these fleeting moments, she felt weak.

She winced again, and her hand gripped his a little tighter.

Despite knowing better, Djarin's attraction to her grows.Katara has been searching for her planet for fourteen years. Lost in the a strange universe with no way home, she hopes to find her planet or moon despite all odds. If only she could find Yue, surely a Spirit could help her at the very least. Working for Djarin had been about convenience. She slowly lets her guard down, her heart shifting toward the stoic Mandalorian.
Takes place mid season 1, before meeting Mayfield. Relationship focused with Grogu cuteness attached. I watched the series and just thought Katara would be such an asset and good fit for him.

The Gaang have been separated, and have no way of getting back to each other.
Aang and Momo discover a new village, but finding Aang’s friends is almost impossible for him when a not-so-friendly face makes a return to take down the avatar.
Meanwhile, Zuko’s having trouble surviving himself with an injured friend, and Sokka’s brain is in a war with his feelings for Zuko.
Katara has to deal with a very stubborn Toph, who won’t listen to anything she says. Toph’s getting annoyed that Katara is staring to act like her own mother, leaving the two girls conflicted and low on supplies to survive.
Basically “Divided We Fall” by Nickelodeon but longer and with our boy Zuzu too.

Summary
Aang died in the ice. The war still went on. Three years after Sozin’s comet, Katara and Sokka scour the seas for Zhao, the man who burned down their home and ruined their lives. They do their best to become a menace to the Fire Nation as they do so, taking down as many ships as they can. When they stumble across an old Fire Nation cruiser, they expect their usual battle, but instead find a banished Fire Nation prince.
Also, Sokka has a gun.
