A retelling of Dragon Age 2 from several viewpoints, framed between chunks of Cassandra's interrogation of Varric, with uh... two pretty significant shake-ups that I won't spoil here.
Smut level: Super-low. Gonna be real up front about that. Spice-lovers will be disappointed.
What you will find: yearning, adventure, healing and rebuilding. A circle of broken people who pull themselves and each other back together. Also, hopefully, some pretty fun fantasy fights and adventuring and mystery-solving? It was fun to write, at least!
Oh and there are a LOT of adoptions. Adopted kids, adopted siblings, adopted grannies, we're all over the place here. This isn't just Found Family, this is deep-dug-foundation, brick-by-brick, Built Family.

Kahlia began whistling well in advance of where their map indicated the clan was located, and kept walking as she did, an excited bounce in her step. Zevran followed and waited for whatever she was summoning. Bird calls flowed from her lips, answered from the trees over and over, to the point that Zevran was uncertain how many of the calls were real birds and how many were elves passing news. By the time they reached the flat area halfway up Sundermount where the clan was camped, it seemed like the entire clan was there to greet them. The cheers were loud, boisterous, and the clan all but swallowed Kahlia into their midst as she laughed. Calls of her name, various Elvhen affectionate nicknames, and welcome flowed over the crowd in waves. Elves jumped and danced, an ocean of excitement, until the chaos suddenly coalesced into one united intent. A song flowed through the crowd, the words unknown to Zevran but joyous, the clan all holding each other, many of them freely crying in joy, laughter interrupting the song as the people simply couldn’t contain their feelings.
