Em "Fight the Future", Mulder salva Scully do fundo de uma nave alienígena escondida no gelo da Antártida.
Mas o filme não mostra como esses dois conseguiram voltar pra casa sãos e salvos. O carro de neve não tinha ficado sem combustível? Sem contar que eles estavam no meio do nada.
Mas... e se eles tiveram uma ajudinha?
Resgatados por um ser misterioso capaz de mexer com o tempo e o espaço, Mulder e Scully acordam num lugar que só existe nas lendas: um Santuário protegido por guerreiros criados pelas estrelas e guiados por deuses. Enquanto tentam entender uma realidade que não segue nenhuma lógica científica, eles serão ajudados por esses guerreiros míticos... e vão descobrir coisas que nem eles mesmos estavam preparados para encarar.
A história começa logo depois do filme de 1998. E é um crossover com os Cavaleiros do Zodíaco, então pode preparar o coração: começa engraçadinho, mas depois vai ter tensão, mistério cósmico e um slow burn pra bater bem no osso da ansiedade!

When Martin was escorting Milo to school one day, the two Murphys didn’t expect to suddenly stumble upon an evil scientist trying to use his new Inizor to take over the world. When they try to escape, Milo is the only one who makes it out. Now he and his friends have to figure out how to shut down this machine to secure the safety of their entire dimension. To make things even weirder, several peculiar strangers have come to town. On top of everything already on his plate, he has to help them get home before it’s too late.
Fixing dimensional warping, saving the world, finding (and probably rescuing) his dad, and trying to deal with the existence of the multiverse. How can a 13-year-old handle that much? He keeps moving.

Or; Milo is on death's door, however, he doesn't want to abandon Scott, he had promised the man, he would leave him. Especially this soon into their relationship, they had only recently got engaged and were not working on buying a house. He really, really didn't want to abandon Scott.
