Although he didn't understand why they were so worried, he enjoyed their company. Now, however, everything was different. All around him were red patches, the vegetation was withered, the sky was dark and his friends had disappeared.
Confused and somewhat uneasy, Brud remembered Tunner's words: if he felt threatened, he should look for him at home. Although he could not identify the threat, his instinct was to follow that advice. As he walked towards Tunner's house, he saw his friend Simon in the distance. Recognising him, Brud was happy and changed course to catch up with him, driven by the joy of seeing a familiar face again.
