Maxwell's equations are a set of beautiful, breathtaking equations that show how magnetic and electric fields are connected within each other and how together they create an electromagnetic field. And so on and so forth. Physics can explain a lot of things.
But unfortunately, there is no equation that would explain why Jayce and Giopara did this to him and would predict all the future attempts.

Pretender, not realizing he’s triggered and unable to leave Annette’s body, assumes Annette’s life, joining the Protectorate and continuing his relationship with Danny for the next twenty years.
Problem is, Pretender and Danny didn’t tell many people about Pretender’s true nature, including their daughter, Taylor. The death of Annette’s body unsettles their lives, throwing the three of them into new worlds where none of them understands each other anymore.

After being let go from the Z-team, all Sonar wanted to do was go to the bar and drink his bitter sorrows away after being bested by Invisigal of all people. Unfortunately for him, (Or maybe fortunately for him, it really depended on the day.) he instead found himself face to face with a member of The Red Ring who came with promises of enacting vengeance against his asshole ex-employers.
Even despite his wounded ego, he found it in himself to somehow say no to the overly tempting offer.
Unfortunately, The Red Ring didn't take well to rejection.
But then again, nothing really seemed to be going his way today anyways.
