Jayce and Viktor pulled into a Hexgate post season 2. Post-canon.
"Jayce’s hand was on the back of my neck. I held his forearm, held him, we were spinning. The acceleration rune burned like frostbite in my palm, his palm, us. It was an animal instinct in my gut, like bile running up my throat: survive."
Viktor kills another version of Jayce to save his partner, while untangling the fractured pieces of his identity. There will be another evolution.
Mel Medarda is the wolf in Noxus, locked in a deadly game versus the witch, Leblanc. She'll need Jayce, and surprisingly, Viktor's help and friendship to win.
Jayce Talis just wants his partner back. And to convince Viktor their relationship has never been purely platonic.

Born of a Blade is a personal project that's gone through many versions and many years of work. It's very much in the vein of a Dresden story in terms of tone and content and is based in a (complicated) love for the source material. If you've read any of the previous versions first, thank you for reading (again)! Second, consider this version disconnected from the others (Although there will likely be many similar scenes or characters throughout).
