Summary
The Enterprise is investigating an ion storm when Kirk’s mirror counterpart appears with an urgent message: the mirror Spock is dead, his Resistance is foundering, and Spock must take his counterpart’s place in negotiations with the Terran Empire. Kirk, Spock, and McCoy return to the universe to see the negotiations through, only to find that all is not as it seems.
At the same time, the mirror Kirk’s revelations about his relationship with his own Spock have left Kirk and Spock questioning the nature of their relationship. They’ll just have to stay alive long enough to work things out.
Spirk with Spock & McCoy friendship and plenty of action. Draft is complete, posting as I revise/edit each chapter.

Inho blinked. His smile faltered, replaced by confusion, “What are you talking about?”
“I said,” Gihun was on his feet before he even realized it, the chair screeching across the floor as he lunged across the table. “Why did you let me live?!”
Seong Gihun wakes up and finds out everyone is alive and never experienced the Games. He assumes this is the afterlife and realizes perhaps he can finally heal.
