Summary
Tommy Kinard doesn’t believe in vampires. The whole idea is ridiculous, and so is the secret organization insisting that that’s what the 118 are. But the Talamasca leave him no choice - spy on his friends, or lose everything.
Caught between a truth he refuses to believe and a betrayal he can’t escape, Tommy finds himself reluctantly watching people who’ve done nothing to deserve it.
It’s madness. It’s impossible. And it’s destroying him, because one of the people they’ve ordered him to watch is the man he’s falling in love with.

Summary
Evan Buckley was intimately familiar with death. It hung in the air around him, lived under his skin.
It was the reason he'd been born in the first place.
Maybe it had seemed like some awful cosmic joke to his parents when they'd found out the source of his magic. It could have been anything.
It just had to be death.Eddie Diaz doesn't know how to be a werewolf.
Which is unfortunate, given he's been one all his life. He brought his son to LA to get away from it all, but he couldn't run from what he was.Or:
Death Mage Buck and Werewolf Eddie find one another at the 118. -

Summary
Bobby lives—barely—and the city exhales, but the aftermath leaves fault lines.
Eddie is back from El Paso and finally telling the truth in therapy, Buck wearing out the seams of Eddie’s couch while “apartment hunting” becomes a way to survive wanting.
One rooftop, one half-heard statement, and the distance between them turns into something that hurts to look at.
Pepa pushes, Hen listens, Bobby and Athena steady the ground, and Chris—fourteen and unblinking—calls the play before anyone else will. No running, no hiding: they’ve lost enough. Group chats explode, cake is promised, and a house that has held too many almosts finally makes room for the after. -

Summary
“But despite that, he was always there. Whenever I needed him, there he was. He saved me so many times, and still counting. Corny, I know.” Eddie’s mind started to wander elsewhere. Of course he would think of Buck. They had quite literally saved each other’s lives in the past and always had each other’s backs. It’s only normal he would have Buck come to mind here because what was the harm in all of this reminding him of his best friend?
Or, Eddie stumbles across a Smosh Reddit stories video, thinking only of Buck. But only in a very super platonic way, obviously... Right?

Summary
Cariño (oversimplified - my love). When Eddie gets frustrated with Buck's ramblings at work, he lets this term of endearment slip. Everyone hears it. This is the fluffy story of what happens.

Summary
It only takes one harmless comment from Eddie—something about Buck’s “pantry system”—for the entire firehouse to witness Evan Buckley burst into tears.
By the time Bobby walks in, Hen’s comforting him, Chim’s scolding Eddie, and Buck is whispering that he’s trying his best, while Eddie stands there, realizing he’s somehow both the villain and the idiot in this episode of his life.

Summary
Buck had no idea what he was going to do next. He had Maddie’s jeep, but not Maddie. He wanted an escape but he wanted his sister to escape with him. He just …he sat on the hood of the car, parked in a nearly empty parking lot, out of gas and no money to get more.
“Everything ok?” Buck looked up and saw a guy in a uniform. US Navy.
“Uh, ye- yeah. All- all good.” Buck hated that he stuttered when he was nervous.
“Wanna try again for a more believable answer?” The guy gave him a small smile. “I'm Petty Officer First Class Ryan. I work at the recruitment station over there. Ever thought about enlisting?”
“I just … ran out of gas.” Buck admitted, blushing when his stomach rumbled. It'd only been a day since he ate last. Two, but he was trying to trick his body into thinking it had only been one.
“How about I buy you lunch, you let me tell you a bit about the Navy, and if you're not interested, I help you get a few bucks for gas?”
“I don't need a handout.” Buck ducked his head.

Summary
Between viewings, Buck finds himself lingering in the quiet moments, the spaces between rushing from one open house to another. Sitting in the Jeep, engine idling, he watches Eddie frowning at the radio as he struggles to connect to the aux, catching Chris’s reflection as he fills Buck and Eddie in on the ever-changing social dynamics of his DnD group. His chest tightens with the thought about what he’s leaving behind.
He thinks of mornings in the South Bedford house, Eddie making coffee in his kitchen with the old, outdated machine he still insists on using despite its tendency to burn the grounds, Chris half-asleep at the table as he blearily spoons cereal into his mouth, glasses askew and hair mussed, and Buck feeling like he belongs. Like he’s stitched into the fabric of their lives.
or
Eddie sabotages apartment viewings, Buck becomes a dad, and Chris is a teenager.

Summary
Buck and Eddie have been secretly dating for six months. They’ve got a good thing going—shared breakfasts, soft mornings, and the kind of looks that could melt steel beams. The only problem? The 118 doesn’t know.
When Ravi suggests a team-wide speed-dating night for charity, they both say yes—because obviously that’s what two single guys would do. Cue the world’s most public test of self-control. -

Summary
Bobby died and Eddie left. Bobby died and Eddie left. It was like those words repeated in his mind over and over. Nothing was the same any longer. The thought of working at the 118 made Buck feel like his chest was caving in and he couldn’t breathe. Sure Hen, Ravi and Chim were there but the feeling of home was gone. Buck didn’t even know if he wanted to be a fire fighter anymore. He didn’t feel the joy or purpose any longer. The fire had burned out, no pun intended.
Or
What if Bobby really did die and Eddie did leave to go back to El Paso? What does Buck do when everyone leaves??? He packs up and runs away only to come back 3 years later. A changed man with a daughter. Will he and Eddie be able to figure their shit out and finally get their happy ending? Of course they will because this is my story and only HEA's are allowed. Though the first chapter is pretty sad so you are warned.

Summary
It started with a Firelight Records audition and ended with sirens, spotlights, and a found family on tour.
Ravi sings like an angel, Chim cracks bass jokes no one asked for, Hen keeps them alive, and Buck and Eddie? They’re trying (and failing) to pretend their duets are strictly professional.
Featuring: chaos, leather jackets, soulful drummers, soft acoustic guitars named Jo, and the kind of rhythm you don’t learn—you feel. -

Summary
"Maybe I wouldn't be doing this if I didn't have to listen to every rendition of Baby Shark for two hours straight!" Eddie says, jabbing his finger in Buck's face.
Buck glowers. "Like you can talk, how many times do you have to sing the multiplication song to not be off key?"
Ravi's groan is earth-shattering. "Can you guys please get out of my classroom?"

Summary
“Wow,” Buck murmurs after a moment of stunned silence. “I can’t believe you’re here. You know, I was just…” He hiccups. “I was just talking about you.”
“You were?”
“Yeah…”
Eddie furrows his eyebrows. “Weren’t you just… at a speed dating event?”
“Oh, yeah,” Buck slumps even further on the table. “That did not… go well.”
“I’m sorry, bud.”
Sure you are, Ravi thinks, shaking his head.
Or, Ravi is tired of being stuck in the middle of Buck and Eddie’s pining, so he decides to take matters into his own hands. Hence, the speed dating scheme.

Summary
“What the fuck, Buck. Look at us! We don’t do this, man. You can’t just up and leave after things get hard!” Eddie wasn’t sure how to stop being angry, how to not put everything on Buck, but his best friend leaving sure wasn’t helping.
“Oh, but you can?” Buck snarled and Eddie looked at him in disbelief.
“You…No. We’ve been over this. I know that you don’t think that I…” Eddie was lost for words but Buck quickly started speaking instead.
“That you what, Eddie? That you didn’t leave? That you haven’t changed? That we haven’t changed? Because we sure as hell did. And El Paso wasn’t the first time you did it. It is your fucking thing."
Or
In the midst of their grief, Buck and Eddie fell out of their usual rhythm and went into two completely different directions. After a fight that took way too much from both of them and after the news that Eddie and Chris are staying in LA, Buck decided to move out and leave this thing between him and Eddie behind.
Or
Buck and Eddie have another divorce era right after the events of s8e17. We ignore everything that happened after that episode. Chris is a sweetheart, Maddie Buckley-Han is amazing and Tommy is only here as a plot device.

Summary
“I mean,” Eddie stumbles over his words, something Buck’s never seen him do. “It’s—we’re watching out for the ghost, right? So. It—ah, it wouldn’t make sense for me to sleep all the way there leaving you alone. With the ghost,” he finishes, wincing slightly.
Buck nods. “Yeah.”
Eddie nods back. “So, I’m—I was thinking, um. That we share.”
Buck tilts his head. “Share what? The couch? It’s not that big—”
Eddie snorts. “Not the couch. The bed. Your bed.”
“Oh,” Buck says. Oh.
“I mean,” Eddie falters. “Only if—only if you want it, I just meant—”
“Yes, yeah, yes, please,” Buck rushes to say, face flaming. He’s probably red, and cannot find it in himself to be even the least bit ashamed of how fast he replies because Eddie’s face lights up.
“Okay,” Eddie grins, abandoning the couch. “Okay?”
