The cravings never leave, not properly, but they do diminish over time. There are days when he doesn't even think about it. Not once. He can sit in the lab, working through piles of reports, or tinkering with some new gadget, and at no point does his mind wander. But then at some point he'll realise. With a brain as large as his, it's no real surprise. But it'll come crashing back - the need. He can feel it crawling through his veins, tugging at the edges of his mind, like some sort of desperate animal pacing back and forth. It's terrifying - it's something he can't control.
