Summary
Joanne Laurens knew from a young age she was not interested in boys, not like her sisters anyway. She has a nasty habit of debating with men when she should be looking for a husband.
Alexandra Hamilton was unfortunately born a woman, this doesn't stop her from pursuing military excellence. She doesn't mind a philosophical debate with a woman from time to time.

Summary
An Alternate History were gods play a part in mortal battles.
The Gods are real, and they hate mortals. Well, they don't hate us, they hate how they use to be us. They hate our freedom that they don't have. So, what do they do? They play games. they are in wars, they *start* wars. But this isn't about them. This is about me. I'm Jackson Lawrence, and my family was killed by the same man I see as my father. I even work for him. Funny right? I was given a job, a job to track the continental army form the inside. But what happens when you form a bond with those you are supposed to be hurting? With those who want to hurt *you*. What happens you fall in love? Well. I guess we will both have to see, huh?

In which the only girl Laurens' ever loved was his Gilbert in drag.
“If it’s bad, do you think we have to stay to the end?” murmured Alex, casually.
John and Alexander walked to the makeshift theater with their arms joined. The comment made John hiss, scolding him, “It won’t be bad. Our friends are on it.”
“I’ve seen Meade do enough monologues at me after three or so cups of wine. I wouldn’t get my hopes up.”
“Well, you have not seen Lafayette speak, clearly.”
“Hey, I would love to be proven wrong one day.” Alexander playfully nudged him. “It just never happens.”

Summary
“Your Excellency…” Laurens’ voice lowered as he realized that General Washington was not in his office.
Instead, sitting at the desk was a young man too young to hold any high position, poring over papers and letters, only his wavy red hair showing.
“Yes?” He looked up, smirking.
It was obvious that Laurens was not referring to whoever the young man across the table was, but he seemed to enjoy playing with power. There was no trace of hesitation in his eyes as he accepted the title of ‘Your Excellency.’
“Forgive me, sir, I was hoping to find—”
“His Excellency is not here at the moment.” The young man toyed with the quill in his hand. “But I suppose I can be of assistance, sir…”
“John Laurens, at your service.” He held out his hand and straightened his posture, trying to look imposing.
“Lieutenant Colonel Alexander Hamilton and aide-in-camp to His Excellency, George Washington.” He shook his hand, a firm grip for such delicate hands. “Your humble servant.”
This follows the years of 1777 to 1782 and the relationship between Alexander Hamilton and John Laurens, to their first meeting all to Laurens' eventual death.

Summary
"- Vossa Excelência... - a voz de Laurens baixou ao perceber que general Washington não estava em seu escritório.
Em vez dele, sentado na mesa estava um rapaz jovem demais para ter qualquer posição alta, ocupado em papéis e cartas.
- Sim?
Era óbvio que Laurens não se referia a quem quer que fosse o rapaz do outro lado da mesa, mas ele pareceu gostar de brincar com poder.
- Perdoe-me, senhor, eu esperava encontrar...
- Sua Excelência não está aqui no momento. - O rapaz brincou com a pena em sua mão. - Mas imagino que posso ajudá-lo, senhor..."
- John Laurens, ao seu serviço. - Ele estendeu a mão e ajeitou a postura, tentando parecer imponente.
- Tenente Coronel Alexander Hamilton e aide-in-camp de Sua Excelência, George Washington. - Ele apertou sua mão, um aperto forte para mãos tão delicadas. - Seu humilde servo."

Summary
John Laurens has a peculiar way of showing affection. Hamilton just hasn’t learned it yet.
The first sign was a feather.
John had found it outside camp, during one of his long, aimless walks that always ended in Hamilton’s tent. He brought it in like a gift, held delicately between two fingers, the pattern brown with white splattered dots, and set it down beside Hamilton’s ink pot.
“For you,” Laurens said, smiling faintly. “It reminded me of something sharp. And clever. I am pretty sure it was from an owl.”
Alexander blinked. “It’s a feather.”
“Exactly," he said, as if that explained everything. “Sorry, it’s just that you go through quills unlike anyone I ever saw, so I thought you might care for a new one.”

Summary
John Laurens arrives for his new position: through his father's influence, he has been appointed one of General Washington's voluntary aides-de-camp. He showed up to dedicate himself to his infant nation; he stayed for a certain fast-talking, fast-writing, sky-blue eyed Lieutenant Colonel. Oh, and Lafayette, obviously.
Alexander Hamilton knows a thousand men with hair just like John Laurens, freckles just like John Laurens, a voice just like John Laurens. Truly, the man's nothing special. So why is it that all of a sudden he can think of nothing *but* John Laurens?!

“You are disgusting,” He scoffs.
Is it John's fault that the man - name unknown - is painfully pretty? - Is it John's fault that the man - who SHOULD be his enemy - is pushing down on his throat in such a way that it makes his face flush, and his breeches tighten?
Well, in all fairness it is his fault for getting into such a situation in the first place.

Summary
“They’ve told me to be quiet!” he cried, throwing his hands up in exasperation.
“Many people tell you that. I have told you that,” Burr said, finally ceasing his hard stare and turning to pay attention to where he was walking. “In fact, I believe I told you that this morning.”
Hamilton sighed.
“This was different. The aides - they were so rude about it! I know I talk a lot, but they’ve never given any inclination that it bothers them so.” His face faltered and he pursed his lips for a moment.
“The general did not come to my aid. Neither did Laurens,” he murmured, eyes downcast. “I suppose I just - I just thought that out of anyone here, they would always have my back,” he finished with a small shrug.

Summary
John Laurens did not die in 1782.
Alexander Hamilton is working under President Washington as Secretary of Treasury, and providing support for the new U.S. Constitution.
John Laurens is returning from the South on request from President Washington, to join his staff.
"Mr. Laurens, come in." The low sound of General- no, President Washington echoed across the room of esteemed men sitting around the table, Hamilton at Washington's right. John's hands shook slightly as he opened the door, posture stiff.
"Mr. President, thank you for inviting me. It is an honor to be able to serve you." John looked straight ahead at Washington, carefully avoiding those dark blue eyes he was all too familiar with.
