Summary
Lichenpaw, a Shadowclan apprentice, has always felt incomplete as a member of Shadowclan. She’s discontent with the territory, with the endless routine, and most of all that stupid “code” that everyone would hold over her head.
So what if she didn’t want to fight pointless battles with random cats? So what if she chased a mouse across a border from time to time? So what if she befriended cats who chose a more comfortable lifestyle?
So she wasn’t following the Will of Starclan, apparently.
After a particular incident where things just went too far for her, Lichenpaw only sees one thing fit to do; run away from the clans. Escape those traditions, and just… start over.
And together with a distrusting and somewhat whiny loner, a fellow runaway who doesn’t like to follow the rules, two rogues who are seemingly inseparable and are a little too quick to resort to violence, and a kittypet who admires the clans but doesn’t seem to be ready to do this, Lichenpaw must discover what lies outside of the clans— and decide. Will she return to the world she knows, or embark into strange lands to forge her own destiny?Series

Skyclan’s Starclan didn’t really associate with them anymore, so the news of frantic panic that trickled its way across the distance spanning them had been met with a sort of muted apathy on Cloudstar’s part.
