Father has been suspicious for some time and… we fear what my father will do to him, if he ever receives proof of his parentage, which he’s sure to get with him in the same house. We can’t guarantee what his powers will be, or who he will resemble in time.”
Eris looked down at his brother, stroking his tiny red head with his thumb. His tone softened as he gazed at the tiny babe in his arms. “Mother has already named him Lucien. I know it would mean a lot to her if you would keep his name the same. She sent you a letter explaining everything,” he nodded at the low table in the middle of the arrangement of chairs, where a folded letter appeared with a pop. “She needs you to take Lucien. Protect him, raise him how she wishes she could raise him.”
