    Summary

Galadriel wakes anew at the beginning of her life.

Rolling the berries again, Galadriel considered them thoughtfully. She asked Yavanna, she who would have been present when Sauron, then Mairon, apprenticed under Aule; she who might have even called said apprentice her own child; ‘Would it take a single wish to ensure his appearance upon the cursed raft?’

    Summary

The music she created hung in the air longer every time. It echoed off the walls and the sea alike; the Silmarils shivered at the first pass of the sounds as if they were living things. He could feel the pull, too. It sank heavily into his lungs, tugging him out of hiding. Don’t you want to rest? the melody asked him, and the harmonies agreed, yes, be at peace.

In a fit of pique, Sauron grabbed his crown. The iron clanged against the ground; it did not even have the decency to shatter the echoes of Lúthien’s lingering song. Instead it was swallowed up by the rolling measures.

Lúthien keeps coming back to Tol-in-Gaurhoth after Sauron’s defeat. Sauron figures if you can’t beat them, join them.

    Summary

The Dunedain are sworn to serve and protect the heir of Isildur. Miril, foster daughter of Halbarad, is no different. When Gildor's warning reaches Míril that Gandalf has gone missing she acts once again in service of her chieftain no matter the cost.

But on the eve of the War of the Ring, nightmares of a deep ocean and the fading of Eärendil's star begin to plague her sleep, causing the Wise in Middle Earth to fear the fiery blood running through her veins can no longer stay hidden. Neither from the Enemy, nor from Míril herself.

    Summary

“Explained that Sauron deceived everyone, you mean? That he went to Aulë pretending to be a friend and claimed Melkor was lying and meant to betray Fëanaro? That Aulë believed him and told Fëanaro? Who then took the Silmarils that he'd made with Melkor's help and denied that they'd ever worked together? You want me to assure you that Irmo told Fëanaro all that?”
It was a succinct appraisal of the facts. Facts that had only come to light recently. “Yeah, all that.” But there was more. “And that Melkor was devastated by Fëanaro's apparent betrayal and came to hate him for it?”

This is the continuation of the story begun in The Only Art of Heaven. I've tried to make it stand alone, but you may want to read the Only Art of Heaven first in case I haven't been entirely successful in my efforts!

    Summary

    Summary

Severus Snape and Lily Evans used to be friends. After their fight near the end of their fifth year at Hogwarts, they drifted apart as strangers. He had chosen his path, and she had chosen hers, never to meet again. But sometimes the story of two people isn't over after they go their separate ways. Not when their paths cross once more in the most unlikely of places. At the bottom of the Great Lake - and with a magic Ring for the taking.

In Middle-earth Severus and Lily must find a way back to each other, and learn about each other, while their disappearance off-sets a chain of events back in the wizarding world.

    - This is a Harry Potter/Lord of the Rings crossover, and starts at the beginning of Lily and Severus' 7th year at Hogwarts in 1977.
    - Snily endgame.
    - Kémya is the 4th Ring of Power.
    - Story takes place in both the wizarding world and in Middle-earth.
    - NOT a 10th/11th walker story.
    - NO character bashing.

    Summary

In a world where Middle-earth and Earth have established diplomatic and academic relations, Alfred Pierson, a doctoral student at Harvard specialising in cultural trauma studies, finds himself unexpectedly hosted by Glorfindel, a legendary elven warrior and visiting professor from Imladris. What begins as a practical housing arrangement evolves into something deeper as they navigate cultural differences, academic challenges, and growing feelings for each other...

"I have wanted this," Glorfindel admitted softly, "for longer than I should confess."

"How long?" Alfred asked, his fingers still entwined in golden strands, marvelling at being permitted such intimacy.

A smile touched Glorfindel's lips—not the reserved expression Alfred was accustomed to, but something warmer, more open. "Since the night you fell asleep in the living room while reading that treatise on Sindarin dialectical variations. You had notes scattered around you, and your glasses had slipped down your nose. You looked... perfectly human, in the most beautiful way."

    Summary

At the twilight of the Second Age, as Sauron's shadow lengthens, the Elven lords forge alliances in the oldest way: through marriage. Círdan the Shipwright pledges his children to secure the future, his daughter Meríliel (main OC) to the legendary hero Glorfindel, and his son to the House of Oropher. However, Meríliel finds herself drawn to Oropher's grandson, Legolas, and their choices will force them to live with consequences through tragedy, pride and loyalty that will haunt their paths for centuries to come.

A telling of forbidden love, old grudges against the Noldor, tragedy and redemption, woven into the canonical history and politics of Middle-Earth, featuring original characters woven into the gaps of Tolkien's lore, expanding cultural and linguistic aspects along the way.

This story is updated weekly, mostly based on The Silmarillion, Unfinished Tales and The Fall of Númenor. Original lore is also contextualized when relevant, detailing tweaks for clarity.

    Summary

She was meant to stand at Thranduil's side, not to watch from afar. But such were the grey threads Vairë wove. Not a queen, but an envoy. Not beloved, but necessary. So she left, half sent, half willing, to lands where distance might dull the ache and silence could be kinder than remembrance.

Sometimes, departure is the only mercy left.

Yet, memory lingers, and duty binds. Across the leagues of plains and rivers, across the millennia of love and agony, she bears the grief of a Music dissonant.

This is the lamentation of Tatharel, Envoy of the Woodland Realm to Dorwinion and Rhûn, for all the things that cannot be.

    Summary

“He is here,” came Mithrandir’s voice. A statement, not a question. She did not turn to him but nodded, still tracing the rigging with her fingertips. “And I was wrong,” he added.

    She looked up then.

“I did not believe there would be anything left but an impotent spirit of malice.”

“What are you telling me?” Uncertain, searching her friend’s face for answers.

“There will be a reckoning in Aman."

    Summary

Freed after three ages in chains, Melkor returns to Valinor cloaked in false penitence, sowing discord among the Noldor. Yet when his gaze falls upon Lady Artanis - not yet Galadriel, but already radiant and unyielding - his hunger for light stretches beyond the Silmarils.

His plan is set: destroy the Two Trees, steal the Silmarils, and take her with them.

But in the depths of Angband, it is Sauron - Melkor’s most trusted servant - who becomes her jailor. To him she is not merely a prize nor a challenge, but a reflection of all he has lost, and a vision of what he might still claim.

Caught between Melkor’s shadow and Sauron’s relentless design, Galadriel must face a terrible choice: surrender her light, or let it burn brighter than ever. Even if it consumes her.

    Summary

Halbrand dipped his head, and Galadriel’s heart jumped in anticipation, but his lips only grazed her cheek. “You’re the one who said ours was no chance meeting. We were brought together for a reason.”

“We should stay focused on the difficult journey ahead,” she whispered. “Distractions during the upcoming battle could be fatal.” This venture was only an expedition but would likely turn into something much deadlier.

“That is tomorrow’s concern, which I will treat with utmost seriousness and urgency,” Halbrand vowed. “But what of tonight?” He asked in a low voice, his lips hovering just above hers.

Galadriel could hardly breathe. And could think of no more excuses to not reach for what her heart greatly desired.

    Summary

“I endured all of it,” she reiterated, ”and for what?! Hum?! For you to be so ungrateful that you call me selfish just because I hid it from you?!“
Without thinking about her words, waiting only for the opportunity to reply, I shouted: ”So you did all of it so I would be in your debt?!“
”Of course not!“ she yelled, a little louder than before. ”I just wish that you would at least realise how hard it has been for me to manage all three of you!“
