Summary

Allowing people to learn to control their powers had given you purpose after experiencing trauma that no person should ever experience. When it comes down to it, though, you had to save everyone. And in the process, you unwillingly announced your existence to both your enemies and the Avengers. Can you trust the Avengers to have the right motives and help protect you from your enemies, who would do anything to get back the asset they lost? Or are the Avengers using you, too, wanting to keep you on a leash as their personal weapon? Figuring out who to trust when your entire past is haunted memories leaves you confused and desperate to figure out what you want from life and how you are going to achieve it. On the journey to just that, maybe friends, and even love, could guide you to your answer.

“I know,” Steve says quickly, raising a hand in surrender. “It sounds insane. But hear me out.” He shifts a little closer, lowering his voice just enough to make it sound like a secret. “What if I treat you like the Soldier? Talk to you like you’re dangerous. Like you’re mine to handle. While I’m pumping my cock in and out of you. Doesn’t sound so bad now, does it?”
Bucky stares at him. Not saying anything at first. The corners of his mouth twitch, like he’s caught somewhere between alarm and intrigue. “That’s… fucked up,” he says slowly.
“That’s the point.”

Logan’s fingers splay wide and firm over Wade’s chest, the heat of his palm soaking in. He drags his nails lightly—downward, deliberate. Just enough pressure to raise the skin, not enough to damage it. Red trails appear in the wake, then fade just as fast.
Wade whimpers. A real sound. Barely swallowed. His hips twitch forward without thought, like he’s trying to chase the sensation fizzling beneath his skin.
He grabs Logan’s wrist, breathing hard. “Okay. Okay, slow down.”
Logan stills. His hand retreats instantly. “Sorry. Didn’t mean to—”
“No, no,” Wade interrupts, catching his breath. “You’re fine. Just…” He swallows. “Like I said. It’s a lot.”
Logan studies him. Then: “Thought you said you weren’t ticklish.”
Wade shoots him a look. “Oh, ha ha. If you’re so cocky…”
He leans in, dragging his fingers down the center of Logan’s chest.
Slow. Purposeful. Like a dare.
Logan shivers.
Wade’s grin sharpens. “...I think it’s your turn now.”
