“Look me in the eyes when I’m speaking to you.”
Damian had heard the phrase whispered, shouted, and sternly spoken many times growing up. His mother was the loudest voice, reminding him to follow this rule or else there would be consequences. And so he did as he was told, even though it felt wrong. His mother sat him down one day and explained it was considered a sign of respect, of facing your superior and accepting any orders given.
He didn’t understand completely, as he could completely understand what was being said without looking. But in the League, you do not disobey.
There were a few people he didn’t have to worry about. -

“Tvg lm glk.” (Get on top.)
“Huh?” You ask, not having understood what the man wants by tone, but he makes a, albeit vaguely, ‘69’ motion with his hands. “I’m smaller than you..” Aleksi seems to understand, making another motion, more looking like a toddler wanting something, but you realize he wants you on top of him, finally understanding what he initially said(I like the name Aleksi, I named Wireface Aleksi.)

Summary
When Sirius Black is unmasked as a spy, it seems that nearly everyone in Bletchley Park knew all along that something wasn't right about him. But Lily Evans thinks otherwise. She knows that if Black really was a spy, he'd have done it properly, and would have never been caught. Remus Lupin doesn't believe Sirius is a spy either. According to the landlady, she found the stolen ciphers in his room between the pages of a magazine filled with photos of half-naked women. And Remus knows that such a magazine would hold no interest for Sirius. It's not much to go on, but both Remus and Lily are determined to get to the truth. A man's life depends upon it.

Summary
This series started as just a one-shot to help people with AO3's CSS for making work skins. Now that I've written a piece on making series (originally for a friend, but then shared to a Facebook group, so I figured why not add it to AO3), I figured that the two really should be linked for tutorial purposes. I had no plans to do any of this at first, so maybe I'll add more in the future (Collections come to mind, and they're really easy to do).
I don't expect to add further tutorials, but I hadn't expected to write these either. I'm calling the series complete, but who knows (one thing that keeps nudging me is to take the statistics and show how fics' half-lives vary, for example; another is putting all weird AO3 fixes into one spot).
NB: If you're wondering, please see How to make and fix a series on AO3 (in this series with the tutorial on CSS work skins for fonts, which made that link become underscored blue ink [assuming that your browser settings, site skin, and third party apps didn't prohibit it]).

Let's rewind.
It all began when a brilliant man named Stanford Filbrick Pines decided he could use some fresh air- as well as an adventure of a lifetime. He thought he could find it at a sleepy town called Gravity Falls, Oregon, but he didn't expect to meet a mythical creature residing within, and he certainly didn't anticipate having her as his assistant.

Summary
The whistles were for the Waynes. Tim may have forced himself to be a bird, but it wasn’t his place to force himself into their lives even more. There was a line that Tim still wasn’t allowing himself to cross. He was here first as a crutch for Bruce, now as a tool to help control the crime in Gotham.
OR: Tim doesn't know the whistle code, at first. He ends up wishing that he did know both the code, and how to finger whistle.

Summary
Three dark mage-kings known as the Sea Lords, the Orphaner and his two sons, hold the world in an iron grip. The reincarnation of an ancient hero known as the Sufferer leads a rebellion against their power. For all the blood and magic spilled, it seems the world will be at war forever.
Rebel spymaster Sollux Captor is kidnapped by one of the Sea Lords to break a puzzling code. He's sure his fate is interrogation and death, or worse. But the lines between friend and foe are less clear than they seemed, and his captivity may have placed him in the perfect position to turn the tide.

Summary
The obvious result of Tim’s paranoia and Bernard’s conspiracism is a series of code words. Fairly standard practice for anyone in the cape community and probably detectable by anyone tearing down the capes themselves.
What makes Tim and Bernard so special is that they have a veritable language of code phrases, made up of the reality TV shows hate watched by one Stephanie Brown.
Tim memorized it as fast as they spun titles into meanings and Bernard stayed up all night until he could spit out that RuPaul’s Drag Race meant going undercover soon and Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives meant low risk stake out scheduled.
Big Brother, Tim said. You’re being watched.

Summary
The summer of 1966 was one of the happiest summers Stanley and Stanford ever had. It was the year they found their beloved ship and promised each other that they would one day sail in search of adventure. Unfortunately, things hardly ever seemed to go right for very long, and they soon find themselves very far from home and each other.
In January of 1982, Stan and Ford are over a thousand miles away each other when they each have a chance encounter with familiar faces.

Summary
Seven years after the events of the first movie, Tewkesbury brings Enola a case: a blackmailer ensconced in the House of Lords. To solve it, she'll need his help; to protect them both, they'll need to utilize an elaborate cipher, London's newspapers, and their flower dictionaries for all communication. Enola is, as always, single-minded. Tewkesbury, as always, has more than one thing on his mind.

Explains:
● how to make a work skin;
● how to view fics' work skin rules;
● how to colorize text and circle words and highlight backgrounds (examples in head-note), and change and resize your fonts;
● how to turn all links blue-underscore automatically;
● the CSS code for diacritics to render properly, e.g.: “ầ” & “ồ” (with diacritics not superimposed), or “ị” (with underdot directly beneath, not kerned to the left), without breaking words such as “gầu” or “vịt” (using a monotype font for these letters would create gaps to each side of the ầ or the ị). Head-note has corrected examples;
● Site Skin addenda to block / shrink tags, and block authors / works;
● even a quick way (code included) to simply make a Site Skin so that you can read everything in your font of preference!Full code is included.

"Why’d he steal your sandwich?" she asks an hour later, when the two of them are deep into Zelda and the biscuits are long gone.
"He was hungry," Ed replies, perturbed that he failed to anticipate follow-up questions. "And he wasn't feeling well."
Excising details like gunshot wounds and burying murdered corpses likely falls under the criteria for 'keeping it clean.'

Cody picked up the voice comm with bad grace. It wasn’t his standard-issue device. “Hello, dear,” he said, sounding exasperated.
Rex blinked, because Cody was speaking Mando’a, which meant Wooley had done a double take but Anakin hadn’t even looked up from the holoscreen.
Obi-Wan goes undercover. Cody takes some calls. These two facts are absolutely not related.

Summary
Stanford and Stanley Pines, freshly sixteen, are flung forward into 1983 after fighting over a half-broken time tape that neither of them wanted to be fighting over. Their relationship, usually so concrete, had begun to strain - and the argument over the time machine gets out of hand. The future is not what either of them expects to find.
Stanford, stranded in New Mexico and utterly alone, finds himself out of his depth when he comes across a much older version of his brother who is homeless and struggling to make ends meet.
Stanley, stranded in Oregon and burned by the broken time tape, has his worst fears confirmed when he finds an older version of his brother who is driven to the brink by paranoia and forces unknown.
----
There are mentions of sex at various points, but no explicit descriptions. There is, however, lots of violence. This is a story about trauma & a bond between brothers, explored in a timestuck format.
