Summary
Basically this is if Neil missed the shot. He'll probably be referred to as 'Wilson' throughout the story (WHEN HE'S A DOCTOR) but his first name is still Neil (He kept the last bame of one of his ex wives', Wilson)
Ill try to keep it as canon as possible.(Also hints of neil being queer... 👀👀)

Summary
He was willing to chip at it, at his father’s carefully constructed cage, bit by bit. He could make it clear that his body was not his; and what with everybody so keen to take control of it, he could make sure they know that everybody—anybody was welcome to do with it what they will.
(He didn’t hate his father as much as he hated himself anymore.)
It was a small rebellion, more or less invisible, but he could see it. And Neil Perry just wasn’t brave enough to rebel in bolder colours anymore.
—After a failed suicide attempt, Neil is desperately trying to hang on to who he was before, but that person is slipping through his fingers. He’s not sure whether he ever existed at all.

Summary
When Neil Perry is hospitalised after making an attempt on his own life, Mr Keating and the Dead Poets aren’t willing to let the poor boy suffer the consequences of his actions alone.
Although Mr Perry, Principal Nolan, and the dire 1959 mental health care system aren’t about to make it easy for them.

Summary
"Give it to me straight, doc." Neil yanks the collar of his sweater down, wincing at the frigid air against his neck, "How bad is—"
Charlie cuts him off, practically yelling in the abandoned shower room, "Holy shit! Neil— I mean… Oh my god?!" He leans in, eyes nearly bulging out of his skull like a cartoon character. "Did you get mauled by a bear on the way back?"
"You're being dramatic; it can't be that bad." Neil shoves past him, marching up to the mirror, gently tugging his collar back down.
Staring back at him through the fogged-up mirror was a gash on the side of his neck, crusted over slightly from the dried blood; a hissing reminder of the past hour or two.
"Okay, I concede, geez, maybe it is that bad."

5 times Neil Perry cracks the news to his friends that he might be a vampire, and 1 time maybe, just maybe, he doesn't have to be alone.

Summary
A curtain closing symbolized the end of something.
That’s what Neil has learnt, the symbolism he’s been taught and has trusted because he was yet to find an example that proved it wrong. Until now.
Or
Neil’s dad wasn’t there at the play and everything works out very well for Neil and Todd

Summary
When John House sent his son to Welton Academy to “make a man out of him” and “teach him how to behave”, Greg didn’t expect to find anything more than cold stone walls, boys in uniforms, and rules carved in Latin. He didn't expect Neil Perry — warm, theatrical, and nothing like him. A shared room becomes shared music, scribbled margins, and questions neither of them is quite ready to answer.
---
“It's anxiety with rhythm.”
Neil shook his head in disbelief. “You voluntarily put this in your ears?”
“Better than glittery denial set to piano,” House smirked. “Which, I assume, is your genre of choice.” -

Summary
It's the 10th of December in 1971 on a Friday.
After believing Neil died that night Todd changed. He grew into unhealthy habits. Not knowing what to do he became an English teacher. Now he is working at a school in New York and just tries to get through his days with a young Neil often by his side.
Neil on the other hand was forced into med school by his father and became a doctor like he wanted. Not hating the job completely, he stayed with it. He broke off contact with his family and moved to New York to get away from them. Now he works in a hospital and is living a (relatively) happy life.
On a snowy night their paths cross again. How will they handle the new situation? How will Todd react to finding out Neil is actually alive?
Let’s see. -

Summary
todd has one mission - graduate top of his class from welton academy, get into and gradute from yale, publish a bestselling poetry anthology, and finally prove his parents wrong. he is not just a worse, younger version of his older brother, no... todd anderson is different. better, even, than jeffrey, and nothing is going to get in his way.
until he gets to campus on the first day of junior year and meets his roommate -- neil perry, 4.0 gpa earner, top of their class (for now) and welton's golden boy. but even the shiniest of pearls can have cracks, and todd may just end up finding out where neil's are.
(it's 2000-something in vermont, and todd has transferred to welton academy in his junior year after attending balincrest since the 6th grade. at welton, todd finds confidence, gains more friends than he'd ever hoped for, and finds an academic rival in neil perry -- all while trying (and failing) to get his parents to pay attention to him for once. meanwhile, neil deals with a controlling father and falling in love with a boy who hates him, knox grapples with unrequited love, and charlie is oblivious... until he isn't)

Summary
It is quite the feeling when your (very new) best friend gets a crush, and maybe even has himself a date, without telling you first. It's a separate and wholly more intimate one when you yourself have a crush on that friend.
OR
Todd Anderson sees Neil with a girlfriend and goes (nearly) batshit crazy about it.

Summary
“Honor candidate Neil Perry.”
Todd’s eyes were drawn to the boy who rose next. Neil Perry. He stood tall, his navy blazer adorned with an array of achievement pins clustered on his breast pocket — each one a gleaming testament to expectation, accomplishment, pressure. But beneath the polished surface, there was something else. Something that caught Todd’s attention and held it. Neil’s stance was dutiful, his posture perfect, but his eyes — his eyes — burned with something sharp and restless. There was a fire there, flickering just beneath the surface, barely contained.

So why not write them a happy ending ? I don’t know what I’m doing but tag along, I promise it will be a happy ending :) Oh and because it’s Todd pdv we have access to to his personal diary…

Summary
His hair is different. His face is sharper. He wears smudgy eyeliner under his eyes. He holds himself differently, more confidently. He is elegant, rather than lanky.
But he has the same gaze, the same curve of his lips, the same brows. He is as beautiful as the boy from six years ago.

Or:One way or another, Neil survives. His father sends him to military school, after which he continues to Harvard, perfectly according to plan. He has not contacted the Dead Poets in years. He lives in a small apartment with his best friend, Joyce. One night, he catches a glimpse of... someone.
