Of course, things just have to get turned upside down, because someone Sawyer thought she'd never come face to face with helps her get a box of macaroni and cheese. That someone being the same exact celebrity that she is seeing in concert the very next night was nowhere to be seen on her 2024 bingo card. And when she decided to throw the box straight at his face instead of thanking him, he still forgave her, and finally helped her believe that she didn't go through hell for absolutely nothing.

Yudai fulfilled their expectations. Exceeded them, even; he was kind, and funny, and Nicholas came so hard they couldn’t feel their legs for a moment. He’s tall, and handsome, and when he looks at you it feels like you’re the only two people in the room. That’s all fine. The problem isn’t Yudai, not really.
The problem is Nicholas was never supposed to see Yudai again.
(After ending a bad relationship, Nicholas runs away to Ohio for the summer. They can't outrun New York.)
