he swallows it down, forces his shoulders to square, mutters to himself—“you’ve made it this far, come on, don’t fall apart now.”

Above them, another version of them—a taller Waddle Dee with a cracked helmet and the wrong insignia (how did that get there? that’s not even this dimension’s brigade)—is already at the helm, slamming buttons that won’t respond. The wheel turns but doesn’t change course. They curse in a language that only exists in dreams, and the console responds by electrocuting them hard enough that they drop to the floor twitching. But they get up. Sailors always get up. Even the ones who don’t.
Elsewhere, one of them is still in the mess hall, because time is a circle and this is the beginning and the end. This one is making tea. They will never reach the helm. They will never even try.

Etho could have sworn that he had been at his base only a few seconds ago, not standing ankle-deep in the churning sea ready to follow the siren song and sink into the sea’s unforgiving maw.
It was still trying to grab at him, trying to drag him into a riptide and pull him out into the depths where something old slept. Telling him that it was sorry, that it didn’t mean to bite, that it didn’t mean to hurt him. That it wouldn’t do it again if he only let go.
He could taste salt water in his mouth even though he hadn’t gone any farther into the water.

It’s not just Bucky anymore—Sam’s jumpier than usual, and even Steve’s starting to notice that every mission briefing lately has been… short. Too short. Tony calls it the calm before the crapstorm, which would be a funny line if no one in the room was nodding in grim agreement.
They’re not used to nothing happening. No alien invasions, no global threats, no late-night calls about mutant politics or rogue robots. Just this steady, suffocating absence of trouble that doesn’t feel like safety—it feels like they’re being given time to breathe before someone shoves their heads underwater.

There are some great quick-and-dirty guides to HTML on A03. This is not one of them - it is a comprehensive guide
It's now 2025, a decade later. A03 supports some new HTML and and we're all walking around reading fic on supercomputers that fit in a jean pocket. It was time update this and take a crack at finishing it. (Links and Images are in, the new Audio and Video tags are not.)
The previous three chapters have been divided into smaller concepts. Each tag continues to have - at a minimum - a link to the w3schools page about it (so you can learn more), a code example, and the result of the code example. Most tags have their attributes, things like [src] or [title], listed and examples of how using the attributes modify the tags.
There's a chapter on Bad Ideas, including how some of the archive's default CSS is available to you to format your work (users can't turn that off by hiding a workskin!)
Oh. And I added a bunny army. You could learn how to add one too.

Summary
He's surprised to see the extension of soul sand in front of him. There are four long lines of soul sand with two wither skeleton heads placed on them. The only thing they have to do is drink the two potions and place all the 15 missing heads before any of the withers are completely formed. And also, try not to die, which is probably the most difficult task. Once everyone is in place, Cub begins the countdown.
Xisuma helps Etho go mining, but there's a twist.
