    Kylo Ren and Rey meet one sunny day, when he helps her move into her apartment, and they hit if off. Instant fireworks. A spark. Butterflies and heart-eyes. The works. A connection that just has to mean something. Right?

    Right.

    When Kylo seemingly disappears from the face of the earth, Rey is left with unresolved feelings and abandonment issues the size of Mount Everest.

    Years later, Rey works as an art educator at OLAF-the newly established Organa Learning and Advocacy Foundation-and she's sort of maybe, possibly, perhaps flirting a tiny little bit with one of the non-profit's lawyers. The only problem? She's never met this 'Ben Solo'. All she has are his increasingly long emails and a fledgling feeling of hope.

    But when she invites him to her first art show, they both are in for a huge surprise.

    Hux quirked a single eyebrow, sipping his tea just slowly enough to be a certified dick, and finally explained himself. “Look Ben, this company has been publishing your books for years now, and it’s been a wonderful partnership. There’s no denying that. However… this series is getting stale! You’re ignoring an entire demographic of people who enjoy a little romance in a story! We’ve had producers calling with interest on making your books into movies, but let’s face it… sex sells! Frankly, it’s no wonder Kylo Ren has anger issues considering the dry spell he’s enduring.”

    “What the hell do I know about romance, Hux?! You’re asking me to re-write an entire manuscript!”

    Armitage Hux only shrugged in response, leaning back in his black, leather chair. It was the perfect body language for ‘that’s not my problem, asshole.’ “You’re a writer, Ben. Do some research.”

    “Consider the countless decisions that fork time. There are endless portals. Millions upon millions. Statistically, some have to yield a happy ending.” He projected the illusion of squeezing her hand. “I only need to find one.”
