Summary
Post-war and during their 8th year, Dean Thomas finds out Harry Potter is the reason why Ginny broke up with him during their sixth year. He wants revenge for that, but he also wants to own Potter who he has also lusted after for years. He decides to bring out his secret weapon and challenges Potter to a duel in the Room of Requirements. Dean knows that even if Harry defeated Voldemort, there is no way Potter could beat his secret weapon.
Then there is the fact that Ginny Weasley used him to get Harry Potter's attention and he wants to make sure she learns how it feels to be nothing but a side piece.
