"DIAZ!" The voice rumbles through the courtyard making Eddie immediately stand in attention. He knows that this isn't expected in the fire academy, but after two tours in Afghanistan, hearing that authority coming from a superior is an instinctive reaction, so sue him. Noticing what he is doing, Eddie relax his posture and runs in the direction he heard being called. He is kind of apprehensive about being singled out in the middle of the training, but curious when he notices that his instructor isn't alone. "Trainee Diaz, this is Captain Nash from the 118. He is looking for a new talent for his station."

Imagine a 9-1-1 you know, but a lot of things is not how they should be, a little to the left. Or a lot. Here is a world where you know everything that is kind of wrong. But can be fun (or not) who knows.
or: What if Buck only join the 118 in season 2, but what if season 2 was all mess up and have calls from season 1, 8 or 4. And the background of some characters was different.

Summary
Tonight had been rougher than normal. All of his opponents had fought dirty, in ways Eddie hadn’t encountered in years, not even during his time in the army. As a result, the skin on his knuckles was bruised to hell, even with the protective tape.
He’d only started using the tape to avoid the visible bruising he knew would be there. But the side effect of that was that the tape dug into the skin on his palms and wrists, leaving streaks of blistering multi-coloured lines that decorated his normally tan skin with arrays of purple, yellow, blue and red.
Just like the rest of his body.

Summary
Evan Buckley is 18 when he learns about an older brother he never knew, and the lengths to which his parents went to try and save him. What they were willing to risk. What they were willing to trade. He's 18 when he learns that he he only has twelve years left before the deal his parents made to try and save his brother--the deal that cursed him, the deal that didn't even work--comes to its conclusion, and the magic that has always flowed through him so much more strongly than it should is drained by the Fae that his parents sought out.
Evan Buckley is 18 when he learns that in twelve years he is going to die.
Now, he has only two goals: do some good with the time he has left, and minimize the damage his death will do to the people he cares about.
He thinks he's doing an okay job--until Eddie Diaz joins the 118. Buck knows the walls he's put up aren't the strongest, but he wasn't counting on a werewolf and his adorable son to just blow them to smithereens. But it doesn't matter how he feels about Eddie. The Changeling Child curse is impossible to break.Isn't it?

Summary
She’s been sat at home all day, alternating between flicking through the regular trashy daytime television, and baking an absurd amount of cakes. She’s already boxed an entire ginger cake for her mother. But, for now, it’s a Friday afternoon and she’s finally hit her breaking point of boredom.
Which led her here. Standing outside of Eddie’s house.
Only, Eddie isn’t the one who’s opened the door. It’s not Eddie standing there, mild surprise on his face as a towel hangs dangerously loose over his hips, water dripping down onto his bare chest.
Or, the one in which Ana's boyfriend is almost definitely in love with his best friend only....he doesn't know.
