After another minute or so of Natasha struggling over the (strangely uneven?) ground, Wanda came to a stop. “Alright, are you ready?” she asked Natasha excitedly.
“I’ve been ready,” Natasha answered, her tone amused. “Come on, let me see where we are!” She had a few suspicions (the distinctive sound of running water, for one, and birdsong, for another), but she was still eager to see what Wanda was going to surprise her with.
Wanda laughed softly, and with a flourish, pulled her hands away from Natasha’s eyes.
“Ta-da! Happy anniversary!”
