well not alone anymore, he's got this really small adorable looking alien now! and he's in too deep, he's already sworn his life to the guy.
Tommy picks up alien friends left and right to slowly work his way around space to survive. His hell through space does not prevent the affection that his heart still retains and he slowly begins to heal the scars that have been formed from being treated like an experiment, an animal.
now if only he could talk to them.

Or he doesn't angle close enough to the ground and trips on things. He's uh-" Dream flipped the communicator around, and Techno blinked as Bad flew through the air, screeching the whole way. "He's slippery."

It is a little weird that Phil is leading him in the opposite direction of his house though. That’s kinda a bit weird champ ngl.

Or:
Phil refuses to let anything bad happen to Tommy again so he yoinks him and stashes him at Techno’s cabin. Techno and Wilbur join him as they come together to protect Tommy whether he likes it or not.
