“And don’t call him old!” Tony says, trailing after Rhodey as he heads for the garage. “He’s… a late learner who’s trying his best.”

Tony is thrumming – body and mind both – from the activity of the day, though it’s hard to tell if said thrumming is from satisfaction with a job well-done or frustration at a job left incomplete. He goes back into the house and considers the little markers of Rogers’ presence – the used mug, the lingering dust on the container where he’d put the box down.
He realizes with a start that he hasn’t thought about BD01432 all day.

“James Diamond, you stop it right now,” Kendall says in his authoritative tone. The one he only uses when he’s actually frightened. Not scared, just abnormally concerned. Normally, James would be doing whatever he could to hunt down what had freaked Kendall out and break it into smithereens, but as far as he can tell, the source of his fear is…well, him.
Which he probably shouldn’t enjoy, but he kind of finds it thrilling. It’s not often that he catches Kendall off guard. He takes another step forward and exhales, purposefully, so that Kendall can feel his breath tickle the side of his neck.

Matt had realized that this man was somehow charming (Not that I care), well-meaning (No strings attached, remember?) and intelligent (I’m just looking for a spectacular one night stand, really I am). If circumstance were different (and Matt wasn’t, well... a vigilante with a dubious moral code and no room for a serious relationship in his life) he could easily see this turning into something else entirely. Matt was Daredevil though, and both parties remained specifically vague.
