Summary
An unexpected visitor brings news that a rival Alpha is interested in taking over Beacon Hills. This means that Derek has to travel to Colorado to convince Werewolf Society to deny that petition. Packs with a mated alpha look stronger and more stable, so Derek needs a mate. Or more accurately, he needs someone to pretend to be his mate. Enter Stiles, who is somehow Derek's best option. Etiquette lessons bring them closer together than either of them expected, and the part of Derek that is more wolf than human is starting to take an interest.
