Summary
Percy knew that demigods were strong. It was a given considering they fought monsters 24/7.
The strength and endurance of a normal human was just not going to cut it. But he had underestimated how strong they were.
Or more accurately, he had overestimated Captain America's strength.

This wasn't good. He needed an excuse. A believable one, that explained why he was in a dark alley in the middle of the night fighting monsters.
Hold up. He wasn't the only one fighting in the dead of the night. There was a friendly neighborhood superhero who did the same thing.
