She doesn’t respond to his provocation. He doesn’t think about it, after all, why would he? It was late in the States, she was probably already turned over and dozing. And if not, she was about to be. It doesn’t occur to him for a moment that anything could be wrong, not for a few thousand years, anyway.
Before the world turned to stone, Senku had a friend on the other side of the world. Someone he cared about far more than he was willing to admit to anyone other than himself. After all, love was illogical, but then again, he was only human.
