Summary
This is MY version of the Sans Au Multiverse. The X-event never happened, and Ink and Cross became close (like brothers, along with Reaper). There are three 'new' Au's in this, those are my Au's, but they have never told their backstory to anyone else. Not even to each other. But this isn't about them, yet, so lemme finish explaining this. So, Ink actually does care about the people in the Au's knowing that the creators can remake the Au, but not the people. Or his friends, so he protects them from the creators. He fights for them and not the creators, while he and Error did have a truce, Ink couldn't save Error from the creators until recently. Most people knew that Ink didn't have a soul since he didn't hide it, but Error held out until he did (Ink has a soul now) to tell him how he feels, and Ink accepted and returned the feelings. And as this AU of the Multiverse I, as a/the creator, also play a role in this as well. Everything has worked out, meaning there isn't any fighting. They're all friends now. HOWEVER, I DO NOT OWN ANY OF THE CHARACTERS OTHER THAN GREEN, LEO, AND SAGE! OH YEAH, NIGHTMARE IS PASSIVE IN THIS MULTIVERSE. THEY FOUND A WAY TO CHANGE HIM BACK.

Welcome back, everyone. Hi, how are ya? I bring you the rewritten version of The War that Took My Light. Now some things to note before reading. The monsters are considered star beings. They aren't really monsters? They are flesh-ish. So instead of looking like skeletons, Sans, Gaster, and Papyrus would look like the star/constellation that they are. This time, it is known that Sans is a Leo, he isn't gonna be hiding it. Secondly, Papyrus (Sirius) is not Sans (Leo)'s brother. Nope. He's Gaster (Gemini)'s son, but not Leo's.
Lastly, and most importantly, THIS IS NOT FOR THE FAINT OF HEART. It gets graphic. It gets dark. It's a lot worse(?) than before. So this is your fair warning. With that, I give you the rewritten work of Leo's story.Series

She remembers Bruce’s face - haunted and resigned with steel in his eyes. A flicker of Batman in the mild posture of Bruce Wayne. And how Stephanie wanted to give those old bags the verbal beatdown of a lifetime, but Bruce put a hand on her back and steered them away from the crowd. “It’s not worth it,” he said. He barreled on when he saw Stephanie open her mouth, a retort already shaping on the tip of her tongue. “I’m used to it. I don’t want them to drag you into this”. As if they already don’t - Bruce Wayne and all of his charity cases.
“You’re so pretty, you know?” she suddenly starts. Bruce slowly blinks, the way he does at the rare instance that something is confusing him and his brain can’t catch up fast enough to come up with a solution. “Come on, Jason. Back me up here”.
Jason sighs. “Your so fucking pretty it makes me wanna vomit”. He turns away, hiding his face behind his hand, but she can still spot the hint of redness on the tip of his ears.

His youngest brother brought little Bruce’s hand up, resting his forehead against the back of B’s hands. “You were supposed to be safe”, he growled into Bruce’s hand. He emphasised the word safe, spat the word out with so much offense that as if with enough strength, Damian could will his wish into existence and rewrite this cruel moment of Bruce’s past and morph it into something kinder, something more befitting for a man who will spend the rest of his adulthood covered in the same kind of bruises and walk the earth with bones broken ten, twenty times over from protecting a city that bites the hands that try to hold it with even the slightest hint of kindness and later, from protecting the whole world with the strength of his heart and the wit of his mind as his greatest weapon.
“You were supposed to be l—" Damian’s breath hitched, and it was a terrible sound.
Loved. Dick finished in his heart. You were supposed to be loved.
