    Summary

“It’s a good thing,” Will reassures, and his thumb swipes over Mike’s cheek. Mike thinks he might explode. “It means you’re nice to look at. Artists would love you.”
Mike’s heart feels like it’s about to burst out of his chest. Will is still looking at him, and he swallows, throat dry. “Yeah?”
Will’s own face reddens, like he’d just thought about what he said. “Yeah,” he answers, and Mike grins.

Living in a shared apartment with Will is all Mike could ask for, except for the part where he keeps thinking about kissing Will in the middle of their kitchen.

    Summary

Five people attended Steve Harrington’s pool party instead of attending the assembly in support of Will Byers’ family. Only four came out— but not the person that you know.

Two kids are missing. There is one suicide. There is another kid running around. These are all things you’re used to.

But a different teenager was stolen and survived— changing the course of the entire story.

    Summary

There is a town, somewhere in the American Midwest, where everyone desperately tries to pretend things are ordinary.

They aren’t, of course. Ordinary towns aren’t host to mysterious government laboratories. They don’t see bright lights and hear unexplained noises at odd hours. They don’t have unexpected power outages, followed by citywide announcements desperately trying to pretend this is a typical occurrence.

Truth be told, this town is anything but normal.

Welcome to Hawkins, Indiana. Or at least, one of its many versions.

    ———

A Reverse!AU for Stranger Things in which many of the characters swap places, a lot of shit still happens, there’s a lot of egregiously 80s music titles, and everything is a lot more gay. Told through vignettes and snapshots, because I have neither the time nor the energy to rewrite the entire show.
