After a six-month-long absence and such a dramatic plummet into sickness, it was to be expected that the brothers and sisters of Copia’s abbey would stare at him. He had become an oddity, a hot topic.
Copia only wished those were the only reasons for his people’s stares.
In which Cardinal Copia's abundance is more horrifying than sexy, and the author needed an excuse for the rubber-mask-look to be canon in any future works she wrote.

Valentine’s Day was difficult to seize when it happened to fall upon your only child’s birthday, but Henshingly was determined to do something with his wife, even if they had little time to savour it.

"Winston... didn't Mr Kane and Jean-Yves sound awfully similar?"
He hummed in thought. “I can’t say I noticed. Though of course, the Frenchman's accent was rather atrocious. I’m afraid I lost track of what he was saying after a while.”

When the legal system fails an innocent girl, it's up to Connie, an experimental AI inhabiting a scrapped prototype model, to clean up the mess. Fortunately, the RA700 prototype had been programmed for this kind of work.
Unfortunately, no amount of programming could prepare Connie for how insufferable humans could be to lure towards a murder scene when you’re on a time limit.

Despite himself, Hank glanced towards the figures in Fowler’s office. Jeffery and the woman were staring at each other across the desk, unmoving – the woman with a huge smile on her face and Jeffery looking like he’d just been propositioned by a turnip with legs and an unusually eloquent speech pattern. The fuck are they talking about in there?
While Connie was out being oblivious, other characters did things (because shocker, they're people too).
Note: This is a collection of extra scenes set during my other fic, Continuance, and is written from the POV of other characters. It probably won't make any sense without having read Continuance first for the context!
