Summary
The eggs themselves were the worst part to deal with, though. They matured incredibly fast and were a near certain death sentence if treatment wasn't received immediately. The ovum could be destroyed if an anti-parasitic medication was taken before the eggs began to fully form, but the time window for that was incredibly small, typically less than an hour. Other measures could be taken before death was certain, but they were much less easy or pleasant.

Maybe a small part of him wanted to get caught. Because then he'd have no choice but to confront his feelings for Chris, instead of continually trying to wash them away alongside the cum stains left in the man's clothes. It wasn't like he was ashamed of being in love with Chris, moreso he was afraid of what might happen if Chris found out. Chris was a man hardened by decades of combat and death. Piers didn't think there was room in the soldier's heart for love, not after all his loss and hardship. He'd never reciprocate Piers’ feelings for him, and things would be awkward. They were friends and comrades, loyal and trusting of each other, and that was all they should remain as. So Piers just continued keeping this dirty little secret to himself, no matter how much it ate away at him with each passing day.

"There was a reason their particular training focused on penetration. It was the sort of treatment the soldiers could expect when heading out into the field. That was the one shared trait among all the infected. Weather Progenitor, Plaga or Mycete in nature. The communality all living organisms shared on a prehistoric level was the will to survive and reproduce. No matter how much the scientists tinkered with the viral strands, that was impossible to remove and no matter what creature the infections attached to, they felt that inane necessity. At some point the mad researchers abandoned trying to remove the impulse and began experimenting with ways to aid the process."
In which the brave soldiers of the B.S.A.A. don't just have to fear getting their limbs torn apart but their guts too (in that way you're imagining) so a special training branch, run by captain Christopher Redfield and his partner Jill Valentine, was set up to try get them ready for the inevitable times B.O.W.s have their way with them...
